Honestly, no telling. He might want to use a black man or woman to try and appeal to more voters, and to have someone he thinks will be dumber than him in his twisted mind. We know he doesn't really think highly of blacks or women, but loves using them. I don't think it can be Stefanik because she isn't pretty enough for Trump. For a high visibility job like that, we have seen that looks plays a role for female picks. I'm sure that's in the algorithm for him. Noem is pretty enough, so she might get the nod. Sexual favors might be expected of her, though, if she's the pick. I wouldn't put it past him -- triple whammy of proving loyalty, asserting dominance, and... getting sexual favors. But I don't particularly expect a woman. I think he will double down on the Trump brand and pick a white man. Still thinking about Tucker Carlson as a dark horse. Sadly, I think he'd be the most effective for Trump's election.

Conceptually, I agree with you in general. But as applied to Salvy, that dude can’t be won over and repeatedly proves he is a dipshit and moron. I suppose it is counterproductive to point this out to him, as it could harden his position and make him an even bigger advocate for all things moronic and dipshitty. Your ability to focus on productive dialogue is impressive.
Sure he and a lot of people can’t be won over nor do they want to be won over. That doesn’t mean all people who disagree with me politically can’t Also if insulting people were that effective then the MAGA people who don’t seem shy about insulting others would be more persuasive.
To add to my above post. I acknowledge that most of whatever we say here changes many minds. For the most part this is a distraction and time waster. Even then though why get so angry and upset that you feel you have to go around insulting those you don’t agree with?
I have one brother whos turned into a MAGAT and nobody in my family speaks to him for years. Being a MAGA isn't some simple disagreement or something small.
