If anyone listens to what trump is saying he will do and what he has done in the past, whether its not doing what he said he would do or what he did while Prez compared to what Biden has done simply doesn't care about the country in my opinion, but that's what's great about America, we can agree to disagree. Is Biden perfect, hell no but he has formulated policies and passed laws that are good for the USA.
What's frustrating is that in the corner of Christendom that I'm familiar with -- which is evangelical and conservative, but intellectual -- christian nationalism would be obviously unbiblical. That Israel was the promised land in the OT, and Jews the chosen people, but with the law fulfilled in the crucifixion the whole world of believers is grafted into God's chosen people. Having a new promised land and new chosen people before the Second Coming and the New Jerusalem (who conveniently happen to be us right now and in this place) does such violence to that framework that you wouldn't be able to deliver a coherent sermon about salvation without neglecting one or the other of these ideas. It makes me wonder what the hell they're preaching in some of these churches.

Vincen-Brown found out at 16 weeks that her fetus had a serious genetic condition that made it unlikely to survive at birth, court documents said, and risked her health as well. She drove seven hours with her husband and child to a clinic in Oregon and ultimately “passed the pregnancy in the hotel bathroom as her daughter slept on the other side of the door.” If Idaho wants to severely limit and even ban abortions, they can do so currently - but they also will have to deal with a slew of lawsuits. The monetary value of these suits will be in the tens or millions of dollars each or more. It will require careful jury vetting but states should be concerned about having to make these payouts.

She went to a clinic out of state and they gave her a bunch of drugs then include in the article that the clinic booted her out where the dead baby came out in a hotel room? OK. I like things that make sense, a ton about reproductive law doesn't make sense and most people don't even have logical basis for their ideas of what is and what is not morally right about it.

It is a suit that was filed, you can find it if you have PACER. With the suit filed, it is very unlikely that she made the story up because there are consequences for the lawyer that filed the suit. With over 3.5 million babies born each year in the USA, things like what is being alleged really are not THAT uncommon, not when you have so many births... and when something like what is claimed happen, it is going to be big headlines. We are starting to see the suits being filed and it will only increase, at least until the SCOTUS or the state passes laws to limit it from happening - and while that is possible, there will be more controversies around that as well and negative press. It is very hard in the USA, to give people a right for decades on something like this - then take it away, and keep it away.
