thanks clutch, this site is amazing, in fact, i'm having trouble sleeping at night because i just want to read stuff on this sight. Keep up the good work!!!!
My paraphrasing earlier did not express the wildness that I meant to express, as in the actual quotes. So, since chron.com is down, I went ahead and bought another hardcopy to post the actual quote: My interpretation is the dude needs to reign it in a little, especially since this is not Phoenix he's playing for. This is a team with Yao. Don't throw the ball away. Keep the TOs down. Don't take possessions away from Yao. Cool down.
OK, chron.com just came back up (figures right after I bought another copy). So figured I'd add in the official link to the article (per forum rules). In the paper version this is under the "Camp Break" sidebar, which I guess they'll do every day. This article is not just about VSpan. There's some TMac quotes, too. <a href="http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/4237317.html">Van Gundy's a believer in Spanoulis</a> By JONATHAN FEIGAN Copyright 2006 Houston Chronicle
Just FYI, Clutch is on his way back to Houston. He managed to get some one-on-one interview time with Bonzi, V-Span, Novak and Hayes from what he told me. He decided to hold off on the stories he was planning to write last night until he could speak to a few more guys today. I wouldn't expect an update before later tonight.
Excellent. JVG is going easy on the 2xday practices, at least for now. In the article above that HP, just posted:
Awesome. I hope he will shed more light on the recovery and/or lingering injury problems faced by some of the players.
From what I understand, they only allowed tv stations to do limited amount of video and no photographers. That's not just for Clutch, but for everyone. Thing is, there is only very limited media covering it anyway - at least directly in Austin.
Thanks Jeff, I was just curious to know if there were going to be any pics posted. I'm starting vacation and was all pumped about things until I heard about Yao's toe! I hope this isn't serious.
Thanks Pry! On the Chinese circuit of media, what is the talk about Yao's toe? I am very worried, should I be? Thanks for the great work as always!
Well.....in case anyone of you are members of YMM, there is an exclsive interview of Yao Ming by ClubYao where he talked about lots of stuff..... About his notebook got cracked by Trojan Horse, lost his account/password for his Warcraft computer game About Vassilis Spanoulis working very hard to adjust to the NBA 3-point line About his view on prospects of Chinese players playing abroad I'm checking with ClubYao to get permission for posting this interview here.
seems yao missing practice is completely cautionary at this point, especially following last season. can't say i'm not really nervous anyways, but i'm staying optimistic. feigan said he practiced with little pain this morning and yesterday afternoon, which i take as good news.... http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/4239967.html
