Geez, I thought Yao's left big toe wouldn't be a concern any more after his surgery at the end of last year. Still playing through pain??? Ouch !!! :(

Still nuring his groin injury after all the summer rehab? Umm, what have you been doing, Bonzi?

Assuming TMac didn't go Bill Walton, I think this has to be one of the most encouraging things I've been looking for. Novak is gonna beat Mike Miller!

    Great job Clutch!

Thank You Clutch...this site has made the Houston Chronicle redundant.

Clutch, great job on the article! I have been a fan of the Rockets forever and fan of the site for years.

In my humble opinion - This is the official site of the Houston Rockets!

    Keep up the good work.

I don't think JL III will surprise anyone. But Novak and Spanoulis could be big for this team this season.

The ONLY source for "real insider" Rocket news; this site is just amazing. Wow, I virtually forgot about Novak, if he really pans out things could get even more interesting.

Great day to be a Rockets fan!

I love these re-caps (Clutch is a great writer) because he makes me feel like I'm there. I can see Bonzi smirking, Yao looking tired of answering questions all day, tmac and snyder cracking jokes, etc. Thats the key thing for me personally, that makes your articles better then the chron, espn, etc.

Jeff also adds so much with all of the pictures he took (the guy has a real talent). Thank you to the entire Clutch Crew from a Chicago based Rockets fan who does not have all of the access to team info that you houstonians do. Clutchfans does a great job of making up for that fact, and I am eternally greatful.

    Again, thanks guys.

cannot they do something about Yao's toenail and fix it once for all? :(

It is unthinkable that he may still be bothered with this when even some cancers can be cured nowdays. Put a crown over his toenail or do something!

Here's a pic from the Rockets.com site from their training camp article:

Shane Battier said he is rotating between several positions in training camp.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that Shane in his USA team gear??? If so, that is WEAK!

Forgot to mention about Yao's toe. Man I hope this doesn't linger on to the start of the season. This is the year where they have to get off to a big start if they are serious about contending.

Hmm... Things are now getting interesting with Yao's toe (again!)

Let's hope for a speedy recovery by Yao so we can rock n' roll...

clutch did yao say he played in pain or did you assume it from looking at his foot? if he says he's 100 percent i have to think that means he's pain-free. it's my understanding that many nba players have some tore-up feet and i know clyde has mentioned multiple times that his own feet look like hell. my guess is it may just look like crap.

    thanks for the recap Clutch.....
one thing that concerns me is Yao's foot..you said it looked jacked up but Yao says its 100%...are they hiding something and why is he already getting it worked on by trainers if it is 100%?

WOOHOOO....I got my season tickets in the mail today...now it really seems the season is almost here....thats when I really start getting excited...Yao, Tracy, and Shane are on the tickets this year...better than the crayon drawings on last year's tickets...can't wait for the first home game against Dallas.....

I have a question if somebody can help me...I can't go to alot of the games because of work...are we allowed to post our tickets for sale on this site or not? I don't want to break any rules...if we are allowed to, where is the section that we can do this or can we post it in any thread...for example each night there is a game, there is usually a thread that accompanies it..can we post tickets for sale in their if I'm not going to use my tickets?
