Good things about Westbrook is that he plays defense, never takes a play off, and strikes even harder in the clutch!

Westbrook is still the primary ballhandler of the NBA best offense with Brooks as head coach and Perkins in starting lineup. He looks much completely different when Perkins is on the bench.

You mean OKC looks completely different when Perk is on the bench. At least Coach Bonehead didn't play him in the 4th quarter or OT. Even Steve Kerr was questioning the use of Perkins against Miami.

OKC had no business winning tonight.

Westbrook would average 25-10-5 if he played for Thibodeau in "Rose role".

Westbrook is completely different from Rose...

Rose makes smart plays, Westbrook makes boneheaded plays...

Ehh he got his butt kicked badly by Collison...

I don't think Westbrook is the best point guard in the NBA, but even with all his warts he is a good player.

WB is making the max, he should play like this every game, instead of like 60% of the time. He's IMHO one of the most talented guys in the league, and to his credit he works extremely hard on his game and doesn't take plays of on D. However he has serious BBall IQ issues, and he always plays with a chip so big he has to blame everyone around him for every single mistake that happens on the court.

Maybe he should go starbury and separate himself from Durant. I think at this point the thought of being Pippen to Durant's MJ is eating him alive inside.

I just love how every loss is on Westbrook and every win is becasue of Durant. Westbrook posted a 16/5/10 with only 2 turnovers and scored 8 of OKC's 13 points in OT, he also deferred to Durant in the 4th quarter to let him take over that would have won them the game if not a miracle shot from Collison. Yes he didn't shoot the ball well today, but if it's Chris Paul or Rondo posting that statline, people would praise them being a "pure PG" and "clutch". But since it's Westbrook, it's him having a "big ego".

Ehhh you are as bad as they are. Westbrook shot 7/20 from the floor for 16 points, that is terrible. Further Collison scored 32 points and was 13/22 from the floor.

As for Durant, all he did was drop 40/8/5.

Westbrook is a good player but he had a bad game.

Seems like Westbrook has nothing but bad games. Shooting 40% on the season...yikes.

Playoffs are what count for Westbrook. Playoffs. He's had meaningful stretches of great, smart play before, and meaningful stretches of boneheaded play before.

It all comes down to how effectively he manages the team and himself come playoff time.
