We will lose in a trade for Dwight. Trade all the bums that surrounds Dwight, Harden, Capela, Terry and Motie.
Possibly will someone trade Howard, Capela, Jones, and a possible pick, for possibly DeMarcus Cousins and Darren Collison at the moment?
Beans! Beans! Are good for your heart! Beans! Beans! Make you fart... The more you eat, The better you feel! Beans! Beans! For every meal!!! /Thread
hell no. the team is too r****ded to remember to pass to dwight. and dwight is trying to get back into nba all star rhythm. thats gonna tkae time, deal with it.
You know it's sad when Dmo of all people is suppose to save us It will probably take him this whole season to get back into the groove, maybe he might never be the same again
This pretty much sums up the season. Your best move, in terms of improving your market value while under contract with the Rockets this year, is to stay off the floor.
Dwight'smaking 20M and we're capped out. Dwight isnt a commodity because of his health rather than an upgrade you will see other teams dumping us their trash instead. Since the Rox are hard capped I dont think they can make any trades easily so the chances of being able to trade Dwight are next to impossible.
is Karl the GM? dumbass... Hell Karl cant even suspend Cousins w/o Vlade telling him to sit the **** down. Not to mention Rondo is playing out of his mind. Dwight is not the problem here.
Possible free agent to be -- limited market of teams who will try to trade for him. Huge salary & hard capped -- Dwight is making $22,359,364 this year and the Rockets are hard capped. Not impossible but good luck finding a "good" deal. Good but declining player -- Combine all of the above, good but declining player on a huge salary, who may be a free agent and is probably looking for one more pay day...good luck. Even if you did find a partner Dwight would sign or opt in with, he's scheduled to make $23,282,457 if he opts in.
You're trading Dwight for probably crap. One big crap contract/player or a bunch of smaller crap, possibly longer, deals = $22M
I didn't get to watch the game, can anyone explain how Dwight had such poor numbers tonight? 5 rebounds? 3 turnovers, 8 shots? -12? 2 blocked attempts?
Dwight has a 21 PER so far this year. He isn't the problem. That said, if we continue to suck, we have to do something. Dwight would be one of the leading candidates to be traded since he might be a free agent this summer
I'd honestly do it. I love Dwight, think he's been our best player in the Playoffs for his entirety in Houston. It's not our fault players don't understand how to set a big man up in the post. I completely get Dwight's frustration during the game - just watch how often he gets great position down low right under the rim and no one gives him the ball. Harden seems to at least want to run the P'n'R with Capela, giving him big minutes is going to do nothing but speed up his process of becoming a dominant big man in the league. Nearly 25% done in this season and things honestly aren't looking good. Harden, Capela, DMO, KJ and Ariza (depending on what he could fetch) with Thornton down the end of the bench - are the only ones who stay on this team for me. Let Harden and Capela grow together and get ready for next year. Disgusting that it's nearing time to call it for this season.
