Don't give me this I'm in college crap either. When I went to UT, I had to deal with the Spurs fans telling me that Robinson > Dream.

We even made a bet in the 95 WCF. Regardless of how humiliating it was that they lost, the Spurs fan paid up.

Paying off debts is a life lesson. Friendships could end if you act like this in real life to others. Can you imagine if your roomate doesn't pay up and leave you half the rent ?

One, they are overrated.

Two, again with the bets. If you had made the bet with me, and privately asked me when I was paying, I would have told you my circumstances. Jo mama didn't. He posted in numerous threads about it even when I tried to explain my situation. I have a large credit card debt, I work 50 hours a week and am paid for only 20 hrs at min wage, the rest is unpaid. I have to pay for my bills/food with those 20 hrs of pay. I graduated, got a job and worked my ass off for 6 months to make a trip to Lebanon to continue studying. When I was just 2 weeks away from my trip, with 5 days left at work, I STILL was worried about not having enough money. I had enough for like 10-15 dollars a day for food. I wasn't going to throw 50 dollars at a guy who is a complete ass imo.

When I do donate to clutchfans, I won't tell anyone, and I won't want/need anyones praise or approval. I probably could have lied and said I paid it just waiting for my membership to be changed. I didn't, I told him the truth in hopes that we would understand. I had no intention of not paying the debt. However, I am extremely stubborn and hard-headed. If someone annoys me, I will do whatever I can to ensure that they are not satisfied.

 

I don't take my lessons from tv "stars."

If my roommate didn't pay up, the law is on my side.

It has nothing to do with the bet, and everything to do with Jo_mama pushing me and pushing me. Eventually you're just going to annoy the person so much that they will do one of two things: give in, suffer, and pay the money. Or say FU, flip them the bird, and say "bet on this," as they grab their junk. I chose the latter.

It IS about Jo mama, he was a dick to me. I am not going to pay a bet for a guy who was so rude about it. Before the bet he was rude, during the season he was rude, after he was rude. What's funny is he acts like I just tried to forget about it. When in fact, for several months, until just a few weeks ago, I kept the bet in my sig so EVERYONE knew I intended to pay when possible.

As you already mentioned you are obviously not old enough to see McHale or Dream play in 86. Seeing McHale play against the greatest Rocket ever is something interesting .
