He could've had 20points tonight. 3 of 7 from the free throw line.

If the Rockets land Dwight and go into full out contention mode next year, I'd be all for them to bring him back.

    Tracy deserves a ring

    Whoa.

Even still, after tonites performance and water he said after the game, look for him to ERUPT in an upcoming game. I'm talkn bout sportcenter, close to 30 pts, takeover kinda night. The world will be reminded who T-mac is very soon. What's funny is it's gon be alot of regretful ppl mad at they self for passing up on him....

I disagree, and really think this epitomizes the problem T-Mac has suffered the past few seasons. So long as he maintains the role of a contributing player, playing 20-30 minutes, averaging 10-18 points with the occasional outbursts of 20+, he'll be fine. Once he starts thinking of the 'old t-mac', he expects, and generally receives, 30+ minutes per night and his body just doesnt keep up....

I hope I'm wrong, but it's been this way for a few years and I'd rather he remain productive in the role he's in rather than see him try to resuscitate an image of himself that's long since passed.

If his role is getting the ball in iso situations and not having to otherwise move without the ball then he'll do well.

Mac on sportscenter just now, they talked about how he is a pressure jumpshooter, showed heat game highlights and also made mention about "looking the best he's looked since all those knee problems he had back in "Houston" I think?"

Well, I hope he wants to earn money next season. That way, Atlanta won't be able to keep him and we'd actually be in a good position to re-sign him.

That's not 'on' him but on Larry Drew to survey his minutes.

I'm not expecting much from him in the next game, but I can assure you that he won't fail. Like he said yesterday, the games against the best teams and the best players usually give him some competitive fire. You can say that it is another BS, but just take a look on his best games of the last season

    They were against

    - four best teams in his conference (Celtics, Bulls, Heat, Hawks)
    - best teams in the West (Spurs, Lakers)
    - matchups that became personal for him (Magic, Rockets, Raptors and Jazz)
