    Only in the sense that firing 2 head coaches in 2 years looks bad. And some will also inevitably point out that both are black and make it a race issue.

    It can't look as bad as our team does keeping them. It's not a race issue unless you keep them just because they are black, when they suck at their job.

    It's becomes a thing when u are hiring black coaches as bridge, gap coach literally setting up for failure just to fire them.

    Culley was a diversity hire and Smith was to avoid the backlash. Maybe we might avoid any backlash for firing smith since we are sooo garbage
