so i am supposed to be excited over the past 2 draft classes? put down the kool-aid, son. looks like a meaningless win over the worst team in football has you "rah rah everything is alright rah rah!!".
At minimum we should be happy with what B'OB has done considering what he's had to work with. Seeing the team actually improve over the year is refreshing. Hopefully he can work with a competent GM next year.
The NFL just has more variance. We have an easier schedule this year. I don't know how big of an impact BOB has.
Funny, I'm pretty sure I never said 'rah rah' or anything of the sort. Just know how to appreciate a win and the metamorphosis of this team. Sorry if that is too hard to understand for you.
O'Brien when he isn't getting cute with the playcalling has been a fantastic head coach so far. He still has some issues at time with clock managing (knock on him in college too), but it's better than Kubiak.
Am I in the minority of those who love what O'Brien has done play calling wise, especially recently in the red zone? I love that he's ballsy at the right times, typically (especially lately) in going for it on fourth down.
I think a lot of the fans have loved O'Brien's play-calling. Only complaint I've seen from people outside of that 3rd and 2 etc, was being conservative at times. Fitzpatrick is having his best season under O'Brien. Imagine if we had a good Qb and the numbers he would put up.
Not sure if its been posted, but Manning lacerated Justin Hunter's spleen on that hit on the Joseph interception. Hunter is hospitalized in Houston. Supposedly doesn't need surgery for now, which I'm surprised about. Best wishes to him. He was coughing up blood at the game and had some internal bleeding.
Unbelieveable a flag wasnt thrown, I mean it was a clean hit but the refs love throwing flags against us and what exactly constitutes hitting a defenseless reciever? Im serious, its like a judgement call that seldom is consistent.
