Or on the flip-side, every play that "works" is a good play-call, and every play that doesn't work is a bad one.
Our run defense has been shaky to say the least. CJ is not a good back anymore and he's having 5+ runs. ugh.....
No... had they not called timeout, clock would have gone to the 2 minute warning before the punt. Then they likely get the ball with 1:50 and 2 timeouts... instead of 1:55 and 1 timeout.
Titans get the ball first coming out of the break. Hope the Texans figure out how to shut down the big running plays up the middle. Locker going out was probably the worst thing that could happen to the Texans on defense. Hope they step it up in the second half. Foster looks slow today - dunno if it is the field or if he's also banged up.
Foster has left a few big gains on the field today. Been disappointing. Seems like he's left big gains on the field every week now. And Tate seems like he's running scared after the fumble. Got to rely on the defense staying stout because it seems like our offense has hit a snag after the quick start. A defensive stop and subsequent big pass play to AJ80 would really loosen things up.
Certainly not a comfortable lead, and the Titans defense is looking too good. Are they that good or has our offensive line not been doing their job. Dominant beginning and then everything has slowed down. I don't like the feel of things at the half. Texans should and could have put this one out of reach in the first half. Everything appeared to bog down; I can't recall a game where every play ended in 3-1 and we couldn't convert.
Texans defense needs to get better. Giving up 59 yds to CJ is really sad considering he didn't have many coming in. That TD should be the only score given up for the rest of the game. Offense was so-so. Need to improve all around.
