When everyone else considered it trolling, then I am sorry, you are a troll. I will, and I won't have to leave a game early just so I can hurry home to do it.
Actually .. they may win the philly game. . then rip houston fans hearts out by losing to the Titans later Rocket River
This is what disappoints me. There is no clear "best team" in the south this year like there had been previously. This easily was OUR year to make the playoffs, and we just choked it away. There's still a chance, but had our secondary not played downright awful during that four game stretch, we'd be sitting on top of the division looking like a shoe in for the playoffs. Instead, we found a way to dig ourselves into a hole that is going to be hard to climb out of. We HAVE to beat the Ravens or Eagles, if not both now to still have a prayer.
Hopefully, the whole Andre situation will give us some renewed hostility and toughness. With the Eagles game only a few days away, the fight will be fresh on our minds. Maybe this will give us a better chance against Philly.
It's the same way every year. That is why we're not a perennial playoff team. Had we beat the Jags, we'd be tied for the division lead (actually winning, based on tiebreakers). Had we beaten the Chargers, we'd be tied. Had we beaten both, it's ours to lose. We're so close, yet so far, the past two years. I think that's coaching.
I feel the same way. I think that the brawl might send a spark through the team that toughens us for Thursday. Let's hope this is the case because we'll be needing all the extra toughness and confidence we can get for that game, especially if Andre's out.
Not likely but anyone can look good when they don't have a seasoned QB back there who knows how to exploit his TE against a LB like Cushing. With no vertical passing threat to worry about, all Cushing and the rest had to do was concentrate on stopping Chris Johnson which is why he looked so spectacular. I expect him to put his "cloak of invisibility" back on for the next two games.
Not really. If it takes something as trivial as that to finally get through to this group of underachievers, then things are far worse than I initially believed. I like Andre but he let that little pissant get into his head and that's on him. Now we get to wait to see if he's suspended for what may be the biggest game of the year. It wasn't as if AJ was having a poor game - far from it. He started off on fire and was basically unstoppable. He got the record. So why the need to come down to Finnegan's level especially since the entire team KNEW going in that the t*** have been baiting teams like this all year. It's what they do. To me the real beat down would have been to hang 45 or 52 points on the Tennessee Oilers.
GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! After this game, our defense ranks... 8th vs. Run 31st vs. Pass 28th overall BABY STEPS!!!
Collins will be back under center the next time we play them. We'll see how the defense fares when not facing a rookie drafted in the 6th round.
