This will be the day the Houston Titan fan dies. Texans are gonna whoop them so bad, they won't be recognizable. After this beat down, those colors won't be nothing more than colors from the past. On Battle Red day, Titans will be bleeding red. Cherish those memories Houston Titan fans, this will be the last time.
Exactly. I still don't understand how somebody that currently works and lives in Houston can cheer for a team that doesn't represent your city, let alone cheering for them as they play against the home team. It doesn't make sense to me. I understand if you lived in the H while the Oilers were here, and then moved. But for folks living in Houston and cheering for the TENNESSEE Titans, . What do you get out of a Titans win? Did it satisfy you when they retired Warren Moon's jersey in........TENNESSEE, not HOUSTON?
Section 107. Leaving for the stadium at 4. Good luck to the Texans. I expect its gonna be ugly when the Titans win.
I'd pay you money via paypal if you somehow found him, bought him a beer, poured it ON HIM, and youtubed it.
Yup, I'm rolling my eyes too. I know we've had our battles, but props to you in this thread... keep on fighting the good fight.
I'll be in section 101. So who knows. We might meet up, snap a photo or two. VY scores winning touchdown. Fall in faint. Maybe, maybe no.
What doesn't make sense about "Houston Titan" love is that there are no ORIGINAL OILERS LEFT! It makes sense to continue to root for the Oilers/Titans when they first left, because there was still attachments to players that played for our city as Oilers. Now that they are all gone, what makes people still have attachments to Tennessee? The Oilers are a MEMORY they are NOT the Tennessee Titans
if you're a native houstonian and still root for the TENNESSEE titans then you are a pathetic excuse for a human being and should be systematically discriminated upon and subsequently exterminated from our fair city.
I'm sort of in the same boat as DD. My connection to the Texans is just as tenuous as his. I haven't lived in Houston for many years but I have friends and family who still do so I really wish them well. I'd be the first person to admit that not a huge fan of Kubiak or his football philosophy but I have no wish to see the Houston pro football operation fail. Besides, it would be delicious to finally see Houston wipe the smug grins off all the Dallas cowsheep for a change.
Anyone who still roots for Bud Adams and his team of carpetbaggers should be locked away in a room with bottom-line Bud for eternity...
Oh man, you're not kidding. And I'm not afraid to admit that if that happens, I'm going to be the first one to go poof. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. I don't think it will, but you never know.
I was thinking that Reliant Stadium will run with the blood of Titans, or something subtle like that. I'll go with grind to rubble, though.
I believe Dave Mustaine said it best: Got one chance, infiltrate them Get it right, terminate them The Panzers will, permeate them Break their pride, denigrate them And their people, retrograde them Typhus, detriate them Epidemic, devastate them Take no prisoners, cremate them
the titans are playing much better lately and the texans have a poor history of coming up big. they simply have no franchise defining moments. i am rooting for them but i view them from afar, objectively, and i see this game as a toss-up.
