I'm sorry man, Vince ran all over us and CJ ran all over us. We were able to keep them out of the endzone thankfully, but 'incredible' isn't really going to describe the run defense.

I think if we don't make the playoff and he keeps Koob the boob there will be too much backlash from the fans. He will have to fire him to save face.

Of course, the classy thing to do is just not post- Titans won, should be satisfaction in itself.

    Oh, well, there's always:

You forgot, they held CJ to 5 yards per carry.

He was averaging 6.5 before this game.

How can you not count that as an achievement?

That is just flat out incorrect.

Vince ran when he wanted to. Great. That's what Vince does. I'm not going to blame the run defense for not stopping him when that isn't basically a designed play, which only a handful were.

Now CJ, on the otherhand, the Texans did a great job of containing.

If you can keep him over a yard under his average and not let him get in the endzone, you've done some good work.

ESPECIALLY considering CJ ran the ball 29 freaking times and only busted what, one considerable run? Awesome job by the Texans run D.

The real fail was the pass rush and the secondary. The run D did their job, if the secondary or DE's could have made any kind of plays at all, it woulda been a major difference maker. Thanks Dunta. You can take your shoes and gtfo!

you can rip the texans for a lot of things they do and don't do... but moving the football isn't an issue. they move it up and down the field.

i guess this is what the anti-kubiak crowd is going to latch onto... it was a curious decision, i have to admit - but i have a hard time reconciling how it greatly impacted the game either way. we haven't run the ball well at all this year; tennessee has a pretty good run defense... we weren't going to win the game on the back of our RB no matter who it was. and brown played about like every other texan running back this year.

our kicker missed two what should have been makeable FGs... but, yeah - the consistently year-long ineffective running game was what REALLY killed us tonight.....

On November 16, 2009, the NFL fined Adams $250,000 for making an obscene gesture the previous day from his luxury box towards the Buffalo Bills' bench after a 41-17 Titans win

    Class starts at the top.

Given the pressure of the Super Bowl and the wild game that preceded it, the Tackle is considered one of the greatest and most exciting game-ending plays in modern National Football League history, and the image of Dyson stretching the ball towards the goal line with Jones wrapped around him has become a staple of NFL highlights. ESPN.com ranked The Tackle as the 35th greatest moment of the past 25 years in sports (as of 2007)[31] and the second-greatest moment in Super Bowl history.[32] Fox Sports ranked The Tackle as the Greatest Clutch Play in Super Bowl History (as of 2007). Many consider Super Bowl XXXIV to be the greatest super bowl ever, and the tackle as the greatest Super Bowl ending ever.

    Ignore the troll guys.

Any Houston Titans fan ranks up there with a Houston Yankees or Lakers fan at this point.

No conviction, no honor, no guts, and definitely no class.

Just gravy training and front running.

Remember how loud and proud the Titan trolls were when Vince wasn't starting and the Titans were diving off into the abyss?

    Yeah, neither do I.

I DVRed the game and just got finished watching it. Gut-wrenching. So many close losses this season. :(

Pay Me Rick got burned on the Titans first TD then dropped what should have been an easy pick. He also had a penalty or two (I can only recall one for sure). If I had to pick one player to point a finger at besides Kris Brown, it would be him.

I thought both the offensive and defensive lines were pretty bad, too.
