The best summary of the game. Kubiak had been acting nervous the whole game, that somehow had effects on players' psych, and might have something to do with KB's two field goal misses eventually.
The Indy game happens to every kicker in there career but two weeks in row is a BAD BAD sign. Both FGs where makeable not even 50 yards, he does what he normally does and we win.
At least call it what it is. You'll agree with facts. You won't believe in anything Texans related... your words say "I'll believe that the team can win a lot of games when they win a lot of games". And I'll certainly believe that we discovered the definitive cure to AIDS when we do that, too
Tough loss Texan fans. I know the feeling after the Texans handed the Titans a tough loss earlier this year in Nashville. Not hear to rub dirt. Just wanted to say how glad I am to see a great rivalry taking shape. This has the makings of what will be a no love lost rivalary for years to come. I love the amount of hate both teams have for each other. Makes for some great football like we have seen in the two games already between the two clubs. Vince is starting to show signs like he has matured and that is a great thing... Where is freaking Mearl Hoge on ESPN when you need him...
Glad I'm not a Texans fan...going through the pain and disappointment everybody is feeling in this thread would suck.
I think all we need is a running game to really be considered "elite". Its ridiculous how some of you are yelling out "firesale, firesale".
I keep telling myself, "To truly appreciate a championship, you must first experience the struggles, set backs, and adversity." It gets me through the week.
It's pretty hard to get a good running game on-par with the Titans. And I don't think anybody is yelling "firesale," but we are yelling "Fire Kubiak!"
i know it's been brought up but that 15 yard horse caller penalty on the 10 yard line was downright BS!
It was easy to say that after the replay. However, the way C. Johnson was tackled and landed it appeared that it was horse tackle. All of you complaining about that penalty lets not forget the tripping call and what looked like a helmet to helment hit on Vince in the same play that was not called on the Texans as well. Things have a way of evening out most of the time during the course of a game. This game was back and forth and it was not decided by the ref's. Both teams played hard and the Texans had a chance to tie it at the end. Reading comments as if the ref's played a part in the outcome of the game is amusing.
