Ok. Here is my take on the overall game. I didn't like that Antonio Smith MMA Elbow to the stomach. Yeah, I hate the Titans alot, but you can't do that man.
I will say this.....why Chris Brown got so many carries tonight is beyond me. Moats and Slaton bring a lot more quickness to the table, and can hit the holes quicker. Chris Brown pretty much just sucks when he's healthy now. Whether you want to give it up for VY or not, whatever. I know there is too much of a history for many to ever give him any credit. But please give Chris Johnson his props. Not only is he a beast in the running game, but his blocking is so underrated....Would love to watch the game again just to focus on his pass blocking.
How in the world are we completely unable to get pressure on the QB? It's like there's no rush ever. He never seemed hurried all night. I know the Titans have a good OL. But geez, they absolutely controlled the line all night long on pass blocking. Our defensive line is sooooo quiet.
Every ****ing opportunity this team gets to get over the damn hump, get on national TV, on monday night and THEY **** IT UP. Every Time!!! The titans are NOT that good of a team, the bastards started out 0-6 and haven't beaten anyone worth a **** including this Texans team with a conservative ass p***y head coach and an soon to be lonesome kicker. This is such bull****. They had every opportunity in the world to beat these scrubs and they failed miserably and the whole world go to see it.
I'm going to laugh when the Titans ends up with a better record than the Texans at the end of the year. No, wait... replace "laugh" with "kill myself."
Well.... 1. For who the **** knows reason we decided Chris Brown was our number 1 back this week. 2. Refs sucked - on both sides. We got away with a few, and that horsecollar BS hurt us badly. 3. Couldn't stop Vince Young. Kept Chris Johnson out of the endzone - but he still ran all over us. 4. Kris Brown should not have a job. He's done. and that's ballgame. So tired of the BS.
i thought that earlier in the season...i don't anymore. for better or for worse, i think as long as they finish with at least 8 wins, kubiak will be back.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_Brown#Family under family: hopefully i did that right, and hopefully it'll lighten the mood. kris has been so reliable/clutch in past seasons (the 2006? win over the colts comes to mind) he ****ed up, but let's not **** on his chest just yet
Chris Johnson is a FREAKING BEAST!!! 29 carries for 151 and a couple of CRUSHING blocks...REAL DEAL! Vince had a good game but 12/22 for 121 with a fumble is WAY BELOW AVG. His running was impressive but eventually he will get a spy placed on him however thanks to Chris Johnson it will still work out nicely for Vince and the Titans.
Seriously just what does this team need to get over the hump? Most of the time the offense looks awesome and a lot of the time the defense looks great. What will give this team that chip on the shoulder, killer instinct it needs to finish games? I guess Kris Brown has overtaken Chris Myers and Chris Brown who biggest goat? Maybe we just need to get rid of everyone with the first name Kris/Chris and last name Brown?
kubiak, kubiak, kubiak at what point do the players one the field become responsible? chris johnson... a buck fity? kris brown? allergic to goal posts? yeah.......fire kubiak
This coaching staff is killing me. Moats did not get one freaking carry. Andre gets 4 catches? Complete idiots.
Two reasons to not be completely down.... At least VY didn't win it on a game ending drive. And there's still 6 games left in the season. I would honestly be happy if they went 9-7 to 11-5 and still missed the playoffs. Show me some progress at least. That said, Steve Young in the post game was dead on...this team is missing something. They cannot close games. They lack that killer instinct. This is a talented team, but could it be that Kubiak has done all he can and it's time for another coach to take them from respectability to contender?
5. Kept shooting ourselves in the foot with needless easily avoidable penalties. forearm shiver and the Cush love tap out of bounds come to mind..
Kris Brown is the Brad Lidge of the Texans. I don't think that he has any confidence in himself more than the team does. He's done for being a Texan. An environment change will be good both him and the team.
