Chris Johnson is going to get hit by Cushing so hard, his DNA will be altered and all future decendants will grab their heads and yell from the brief, yet sharp pain every so often....
Plus, it's noisier with the roof closed. I hope Mario slams VY into the turf so hard that he ends up in China!
Yes. Yes, it is. The Texans got nailed by the other trap game this year--Jax. Here's hoping they remember that, focus, and kick some titan ass. Here's to the Texans giving their fans what they want: A timely, dominating, royal beat-down of a divisional foe and hated rival on a big national platform. Will it happen? Who knows. But wouldn't you love to watch the Texans beat the ever-living pulp out of Bud Adams's franchise on national television? A couple INT's for the seconday? A couple MW sacks, and another from Crush for good measure? A 65-yard catch-and-run TD for AJ? A 10-minute drive that wears the titans D out, ending with a 2-yard throw to James Casey for a TD? Oh, it would be ever so nice...
This is going to be a VERY emotional game. More from the Texans side than the Titans. It maybe important to VY but the rest don't have much to care one way or the other. The Texans - this is a playoff game and so are all the rest. They *have* to beat the teams they are suppose to beat. Rocket River
i don't know, i think the titans will be very emotional. The last game got pretty scrappy and there was a lot of trash talking (and even a punch).
oh course...you had winston call out Vandendouche "me and you, right now!" (which was awesome). You had AJ get in someone's face on the texans sideline. In that same sequence you had a titans played ejected for throwing a punch.
Trap game? A Monday night game following a bye week, following a bitter loss to the Colts and facing one of their biggest rivals? No way. If the Texans aren't amped for this game they ought to be thrown out of the league. I think it will be a defensive battle with the Texans winning 63-10.
I kind of wish we weren't coming off a bye week. We've been on a pretty good roll as of late. Even with the loss to the Colts, we still overcame a 0-13 1st quarter deficit on the road and almost managed to pull out a win. I hope we don't come out flat because of the bye week.
i think the bye week will help whil getting Dreesen settled into his role, Casey healthy and I'm cautiously optimistic about Anthony Hill he did well in limited snaps But i understand your fear of coming out flat...they do that all too often.
