looks like you guys are the ones who want to keep arguing with the tinmans. just like you show up in his threads. don't worry, I'm sure he'll be here.
So I assume if you would credit it all to VY, then Mr. Fischer must be playing VY all the other weeks because it causes them to win? BTW, last year's Vince - as a rookie - had more total yardage in the Texans game in Houston than Kerry Collins did this year.
I'm not giving them a pass. I'm just saying that I think the same mentality that came up just short yesterday is the one that allowed them to come back on the Panthers. Some people/teams give up when it looks bleak...others find it in themselves to keep going. I'm encouraged the Texans seem to have a bit of the latter in them. I've also noticed you have a little bit o' Cap'n in you. Just sayin'.
We won yesterdays game. I don't count that blatantly false pass interference call that gave them a touchdown. 4 of their points don't count.
I hope your kidding. they were lucky to even be back in it, they deserved to lose that game by 30+. The end was entertaining, but the first 3 quarters were awful.
That is so funny! The Texans sucked for 3 quarters, but we say they have a lot of heart because they came back. But they still lost! There are no moral victories.
hopefully you watch the replay again, because even sportsradio 610 was talking about that play and ripping faggins for doing that. faggins was never playing the ball, his back was to it the entire way and idiotically used his forearm at the end to push the wr. its the easiest call for a ref to make, when a defender doesnt play the ball and pushes a wr its automatic.
The first two games we came out firing. After the injuries we play not to lose. We cant get down the field until we are down by several scores. Our Red Zone Offense is pitiful. Faggins is a flag waiting to happen. They are going to spin this thing and blame it on injuries. I hope we beat Oakland or the brown bags are coming out.
What is there to talk about? Quite honestly I barely say a couple plays highlighted and would make little effort with probably the 4 best offensive players form both teams not on the field. From the boxscore I can tell..... -The Texans ground attack was aweful/Titans run defense was exceptional -The Titans dominated for 3 quarters. -Kerry Collins was safe and carefull with the ball except for a fumble. -The Titans were awefully bad in 3rd down and the redzone. -The Titans kicker was $ -The Texans had a spirited comeback from the air. -The Texans recovered 2 onsides kicks, which makes 4 onsides kicks in the last 2 weeks recovered by the kicking team and which actually gave teams chances to salvage games--very remarkable. All in all is doesn't say squat about either team or any of their marquee players. Not having VY apprears to have really hurt their redzone and 3rd down efficiency (the major strengths he brings an overall very limited offense), but on the other hand KC only had one TO so he mostly did his job and the presence of VY might have fired up the Texans/fan base. So basically you can derive nothing. Except maybe pencil in Baronas to the Pro Bowl, but then again Kris Brown still has a better overall case (higher conversion %, longer make, better KOs) so even that wasn't decided.
As did the radio guys. It was a horrible call. However, I wasn't surprised when I heard it was Faggins.
What I hate is when the WR and the DB is playing slapsies with each other, and they call it on one of them. I hate that. If they're both doing it, let it go, long as it doesn't impede their mobility.
