that long catch before the game winning field goal was covered. Dante Robinson was all over the receiver. it was just a great catch.

The problems for this team are so simple it's disgusting. Our o-line still sucks, and our d-line isn't living up to it's potential. It's a lot easier to when if you control the line of scrimmage.

Fix those 2 things and we're a playoff team. We have the right personnel on the d-line, they're just not getting it done right now. On that last drive by Collins, he had absolutely no pressure even when we knew they were passing. We're going to have to start sending some extra guys from time to time to throw off the offense.

The o-line is the bigger problem that can't really be fixed until the offseason. Our running game doesn't exist and our QB's are getting killed because of them.

BTW, the Titans don't win this game if Vince starts. Not trying to knock Vince, as he's a great player, but no way he makes all of those throws.

I think they're going to be talking about it on Football Night in America.

Is this a rip off of Hockey Night in Canada?

"The Texans didn't draft the guy whose nuts I want to lick so I never will be a fan."

Do yall realize how stupid you sound? God yall are just pathetic. Would ya be understanding if somebody acted this way about the Rockets. It's bad enough when people freak out about Rockets draft picks but could you imagine people not being fans because of it? They would deserve every bit of contempt and disgust they would get.

The Rockets winning it all 1994 was Houston's first Championship ever. The Rockets, Astros and Oilers have had horrible, horrible seasons for many many years. I went to many Astros games in the '70s when they had no chance of making the playoffs. To want the home team to lose is just abhorrent.

The VY fans are pathetic jokes. It is completely obvious.

Go Rockets. Go Astros. Go Texans.

    BINGO!!!!!!

The people who won't root for the Texans because we didn't draft Vince Young make just as much sense as it would if I said I wouldn't root for the Rockets anymore because we didn't draft Acie Law.

Neither make any sense at all.

well ive had time to somewhat settle down, but i still cant really be happy with the win, its one thing to let the texans within 6 but to let them take the lead with 1 minute left is just inexcusable. i cant describe my anger and how scared i was before the field goal was kicked.

Any texan fans that stayed at the game needs to be congratulated because as a titan fan I even left early. I cant imagine anyone being as interested in the texans as i am for the titans and being able to stomach that last second loss. i think i lost a couple years watching the end on tv..

On a side note i do agree it can be annoying for UT fans to only root for titans because of vince (granted I am a UT grad and a huge vince supporter). i know people dont agree with me continuing to root for the old oilers, so i am not going to judge other fans for either team.

wonder if there were any fights at the end of the game between fans?

Sage sure seems to light up the Texans offense every time he comes in the game.

Meowgi considering you have never been to an NFL game you are not expected to understand and your commentary is discarded as irrelevant.

I went to the game today and was entertained. That is all.

If Sage didn't give up two TOs on his first two possessions, we probably would have won the game. Can't forget the horrible job our secondary did (mainly Faggins). What a comeback anyways. All those TDs, the onside kick (twice), the last TD. Man what a ride but it ends in Texans fashion.

Sage Rosenfels is the Mike Lamb of the Texans... Plays better than the starters do, but will never get consideration for a starting job.

He threw 3 interceptions that lost us the game. The comeback was great but the screw ups really, really hurt.

without a running game, our playbook is worthless.
Defences no longer buy the play action or bootlegs. time to start running the 2 minute drill for 60 minutes.

Yes, there's absolutely no difference between the Rockets and the Texans - except about thirty years in Houston.

That comparison is only valid if the Rockets had left town back before the stadium passed and there was no NBA team in Houston for several years. And then the Hornets moved into Houston a few years later. In that situation I don't see why it's so bizarre to cheer for Acie Law over the Houston Hornets. You have a connection to Acie Law, and by extension whichever team he plays for - these Houston Hornets? Nothing.

    Bingo
    I'm not a Texan Fan . .I am not a Titan fan
I am a Fan of VY
Because the Texas National Championship game was one of the best
    football games I ever saw!

    NOW
why am I not a Texans fan
Everytime they had an opportunity to do something to make me a fan
    they f*cked it up
    1. Chosing the name - NO! I did not like the recycled name THE TEXANS! [Appollos anything but HOUSTON TEXANS] . . I have gotten over it
    2. The Supplemental Draft - I said get some also ran recycled QB to take some snaps and get wrecked. . . get some decent players. . . what we get . . BUST-Selli - who was busted when they picked him
    3. #1 Draft Pick - Julius Peppers - Who the h*ll was David Carr . . he put up good numbers at a so so school/conference. . i was not sold on him. [SIGNABILITY]
    4. #1 Draft Pick II - Mario Williams over VY . . .ok. . . Let me get the str8 honesty about this. cause yes I was disappointed by no VY. I'm was glad no Reggie and honestly. . . I am think Mario Williams is ok. What pissed me off was the REASON they gave for not getting VY. THEY TOLD US DAVID CARR WAS A GOOD ENOUGH QB AND WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS JUST A LIE!!!! If they would have gotten Cutler or Lienart I would have been ok. But to sit there and say David Carr was Good Enough and pass over VY . . .FOR DAVID CARR . . .that upset me more than not taking VY. [I personally beleive Kubes would not have gotten the job if he stated he could not do anything with DC. I think DC was an og call by McNair/Casserly]

So yes. . . they have frustrated me alot in this history
    BUT
I can say they got me watching football again
after the Oilers Let. . .I did not watch football for 2 yrs
    and then only sporatically.
I thank the Texans for bringing me back to football
That is why they hold my interest
I do find my heart rooting for them . . but I am still indifferent

    So . . I won't jump on the bandwagon
I like the hiring of KUBIAK - 1st good Decision I liked
I like the hiring of the new GM
I like that they had a good draft 2 yrs in a route

As the YouTube song FFB posted said
    I'm gaining interest
    I'm gaining interest

    I'm not there yet
    and
I will probably always be a VYOF when it comes to the titans

I have no Dog in this race. . . yet.

But what about those Rockets fans who rooted loyally for the team when they first came from San Diego... and were ridiculed by all the other fans who made fun of them, and said they didn't have any real connection with the city?

And, its not the Texans fault they haven't been here long enough... but likewise, I do expect fans to be able to root for them/feel a connection without them simply just having to be there for the default 20-30 years.

The Oilers were only 13 years old when they developed one of the strongest connections any pro sports team has ever had with any city... yes, the majority of that is dictated by success, but failure also has a way of shaping the loyalty of fans.

    That was Ring Rust

    Matt Schaub 5-TDS 5 -INTS
Sage Rosenfels 1 -TD 0 -Ints
    before todays game

    Matt Schaub 5-TDS 5 -INTS
Sage Rosenfels 5 -TD 3 -Ints
    After Todays game

In the last 2 weeks Sage has thrown 5 TDS to Schaub's NONE
In fact you have to go back to the ATL game to find Schaub's last TD Throw.
and it was only one. [35 yds to ADavis] Then one against the Colts [1 yrdr to VLeach] [hhmmmm 3 of his 5 TDs were to Andre Johnson. Schuab needs to spread the wealth. This maybe why we missing AJ so much]

Sage has 5 TDs to 5 different players

    Rocket River
    just stirring the pot

Some people try harder to find reasons to doubt/dislike the Texans than they do to find reasons to support them.

    Shame.
