hey, i admit i was wrong about VY. but i find it egotistical of us when we assume the organization is full of dumbasses just b/c our pick was the "right" one.

I honestly can't root for this team. I was there and laughing when VY scored. It serves them right. By the way , Mario williams sucks. The only debate left is who was a worse #1 pick Carr or Williams?

What we're going to realize tomorrow is that this was just one game. One regular season game. Hell, it was already the 2nd game between Young and the Texans. Why is everyone making it into the apocalypse? There will be many more games, and more than likely the Texans will win a few of them. VY will probably throw for a lot of yards sometimes, and probably throw some bonehead picks others. This was just the first year in what looks to be a long, long series of rivalry games. So how long before FOX Sports does an episode of "You Can't Blame..." Kubiack/McNair for not picking VY???? I say that episode is in production this monday.

This is what you don't get. At least for me, I was never ON the Texans bandwagon. I'm 22 years old. I grew up a Houston Oilers fan. I was less than 10 years old when the Buffalo debacle happened. I still cheered for the team. I cheered for the team until they left. I wanted to feel that way for the Texans but nothing they've done has made me want to be a diehard fan of the team. I'm stoked that we have NFL football in Houston. However, just throwing a team in here doesn't give us any history with the team to relate to. Those Red Sox fans are born into that. They have stories passed down through generations. The Texans are 5 Years Old!!! I won't be telling my kids about that time when I was a kid and the Texans did this or did that. The Texans won't have a ton of diehard fans until the current generation of children grow up and have kids. They are the hardcore fans of the future. Fans like me were just unlucky enough to grow up in the era before they came into existence.

Tough one. I'd have to say Carr because he led to Williams. That and Carr has had 4 years to prove something and hasn't. I still think Williams has the ability to be a solid NFL player.
