If I had to throw a dart at a board of teams ....I say Oakland as well. Im just feelin them as Vince's landing spot. Davis would love the hype it would create after the season they just had.

Gonna rule out SF or Buffalo, since its possible either may draft a QB in fht 1st Round.

How about Miami, Washington, or Arizona?!?

One more question: Does anyone here believe a "change of scenery" may benefit VY and his career?!? Or will he be a bust like David Carr?

What if vy became Matt shaubs backup and Matt shaub got hurt, would you cheer for the Texas to lose?

    Why would I do that?

I'm not cheering for Vick to fail so Kolb can play

Given how upset Mike Shanahan got with Donavan McNabb with the Rex Grossman benching, I think signing VY would result in a murder/suicide at some point during the season.

Al Davis supposedly is still in love with Jason Campbell, so I don't know about that, unless he is happy being locked into a backup job.

I fully expect to be ridiculed for being a fair weather, VY nut-hugger, etc....I didnt think I would feel this way, but I am not going to lie and pretend to be a fan of the team just to save face either. I am happy to express my emotions about what teams I root for and why, it might not make sense to everyone, but thats what makes sports unique. I think this should make a lot of texan fans happy, whether or not they like or even hate vince. I won't just root for whoever Vince plays for, I just think I need a few years off, and maybe the Kubiak/Smith regime will be gone and I can start fresh with my hometown. I dont expect to be welcomed back with open arms.

We can smoke the peace-pipe, dave.

The Texans are a big, happy, inbred family.

You're always welcome to be a part of it.

(Provided you're from Denver or your dad coached here before)

Sooooo, its down to Miami or Arizona.

If he had bad work ethic in Tennessee, imagine Miami lol

I'd say he has a lot more options than that.

Minnesota, Miami, Arizona, Seattle (Hasselbeck may be done, Pete Carroll is a guy VY would like I bet), Cleveland (lol?), Jacksonville (oh god no), Carolina... Hell, even San Fran.

Carolina? Bet they get "Lucky" in the draft....
SF? Im thinkin Cam Newton goes here....
Cleveland? I think they stick with Colt and give him a shot...
    Jackassville? They stick with Garrard....
    Minnesota? Its Tavares Jackson's time...

Seattle, I'll give ya. Along with Arizona or Miami.

I hope you are right. Whatever decision Bud made, I hope the Titans end up in the cellar next year. Misery (i.e, Texans fans) loves company.

VY may be Vick-like in his bouncing back
not meaning doing as well . . .
as much as . . . he will be someone's 'backup' until they falter

    Miami sounds good
Playing backup to Gerard in Jacksonville sounds sound [who is there now?]
How high in the draft is Arizona? Seattle?

It is possible Vince may land somewhere before the draft. Unless the CBA screws that up.

Cleveland and Minnesota are very real possibilities, as they really have no true entrenched starter (Tavaris Jackson's "time"? lmao). Garrard always seems to be on the hot seat in Jacksonville, so it is worth a mention.

I think you may be forgetting the fact that Vince may not be going somewhere as a starter.

I fully expect Fisher and the Titans to part ways with Chris Johnson after next year as well. I am sure they will do really well without CJ, VY, maybe even Britt?

Chris Johnsons response to VY being cut----

That's crazy. That's something I would never have expected," Titans running back Chris Johnson said in a phone interview with ESPN. "That's a guy always I looked at when I was in college ... that's somebody I always wanted to play with and ... if I could get the opportunity to play with him it'd be a great thing. He'd be a great teammate."

Johnson said he didn't see the split coming because Young "produced a lot of wins" and because it was something between the two of them. "I'm at a loss for words," Johnson said. "I'm not sure that I have the right answer on why this situation happened."

LOL CJ should just bust out the “Him not being here is going to be tough for me. I don’t know what I’m going to wake up for.”

This is an early emotional reaction by Chris Johnson. His feelings about Fisher and the Titans could be a lot different after next season than they are at this moment. If the Titans do well, he'll be fine. If they sink, oh uh.

    Vince's responses ---http://twitter.com/#!/jwyattsports

He thanked #Titans fans and said he was sad about decision. Also said he never felt like Fisher trusted him
"I thank Bud Adams and Jeff Fisher for giving me a chance to win the Super Bowl. I tried my best, I really did.’’

More Young: "I am bitter a little bit, because I’ll miss the guys . From the trainers to the janitors, I appreciated everyone there

More V. Young: "“I have nothing against Jeff Fisher. I just wish he would have trusted me a little more. That was the only issue. " #titans

I didn’t feel like (Jeff) trusted me. In the five years I was there, I was always looking over my shoulder."

I feel like (Jeff) was continuing to treat me like I was a young man when I'd really grown up a whole lot.’

I didn’t feel like I was his guy all the way. I put in a lot of work and my stats and my winning, it showed I had grown.

Oh I havent forgotten that he may not be a starter ....but seeing his cry-baby antics of the past makes me thinking he will want (or demand lol) to go somewhere where he can be the starter. And someone in this league will be dumb enough to buy into that, with his agent likely using the "VY needs a change of scenery" line.
