Sounds like something minor like diarrhea that maybe more embarrassing than serious.

Th 05/12/22 @ Twins GARCIA, Luis

Fr 05/13/22 @ Nationals VALDEZ, Framber
Sa 05/14/22 @ Nationals ODORIZZI, Jake
Su 05/15/22 @ Nationals JAVIER, Cristian

Mo 05/16/22 @ Red Sox VERLANDER, Justin
Tu 05/17/22 @ Red Sox URQUIDY, Jose
We 05/18/22 @ Red Sox GARCIA, Luis

    Th 05/19/22 Rangers VALDEZ, Framber
    Fr 05/20/22 Rangers ODORIZZI, Jake
    Sa 05/21/22 Rangers JAVIER, Cristian
    Su 05/22/22 Rangers VERLANDER, Justin

    Mo 05/23/22 Gardians URQUIDY, Jose
    Tu 05/24/22 Gardians GARCIA, Luis
    We 05/25/22 Gardians VALDEZ, Framber

    Th 05/26/22 OFF

If todays repeats, Odorizzi relieves Valdez.

However; this is where the 6 man rotation likely stops. The schedule has too many days off after this with only an occasional need for a sixth starter. The question is who is hot or faltering.

He has a long history of back issues. He also has a history with the Astros of not discussing how bad he is hurt. So it is very possible the back is acting up. He also has a history of playing poorly for a long time and then exploding. His bat speed has even been down in the past and he looked finished and some how turned it around.

It’s about time for one of the starting 8 to be old or ineffective. If that is the case, we should be able to make a move easily at the deadline.

I know. They also had runners on the corners with nobody out at the top of the 7th and then K, K, 5-3.

Can't wait to play the Angels again, sucks that the next series isn't until July. Hopefully then they'll have started to cool off. Best way to create space from them is by beating them head-to-head.

I thought it was 2003? That's what the broadcast said. I'm too young to remember the 2003 season.

I guess the distinction is that it was an unbeaten homestand in 1987. In 2003, they lost the first three games of a 10-game homestand, then won the last seven. https://www.baseball-almanac.com/teamstats/schedule.php?y=2003&t=HOU
