Twitter kept tweeting McTaggart to post Hinch's lineup card. He came through. Hinch should have a font named after him.
A little let down by the losses at home to the Rats, but its a long season. Hopefully the top of the rotation gets it done and the bats wake up again. AJ is a standup guy - hate he needed to take the fall with Luhnow for something Cora and Beltran brought over here, but it is what it is and I hope he sucks whenever he plays us (still grumpy about game 7 AJ - you should have left Zach in there!!!)
No issues at all with AJ. For me it's way different than Harden leaving town the way he did vs AJ. All respect/love. (Except for Game 7 of the WS 2019 yep).
Agree with this. I don't understand anyone that could be upset or want to boo Hinch. While I do agree with you that he pulled him too early. Will Harris had been absolutely lights out until that point so that move before what happened could have been justified to an extent.
The game 7 Greinke game was the outlier compared to most of Greinke's starts as an Astro. Yes, he was tremendous... but he had not proven to be able to pitch effectively deep into games. Yes, his last start of the season was the near no-hitter against Seattle's AAA lineup, but Hinch didn't have a lot to go by and had even more trust in his bullpen. That being said, I figured people were more mad not that he took out Greinke but that he didn't put in Cole. They had already discussed that if they were to use him, it would be with a lead and not mid-inning. Lastly, Harris threw a tremendous pitch....
nah , Zach's stuff actually looks great tonight . He was just giving himself a little test. Its 3 up 3 down the rest of the way.
It’s a shame tuning in and seeing so few fans wearing masks, especially in the Diamond club/other expensive seats. Sidenote but I think I spot a HOF first baseman in a mask right behind home plate.
