Astros have already produced their own bad taste, this season. Fortunately, Verlander has severely underwhelmed this year (8.71 ERA)
he had 1 start that was relatively fine (he's not a stud pitcher anymore). He had 1 that was bad Again, early season stat skewing...same stuff that is making people say "Giles sucks, this trade sucks, Luhnow sucks" based on 2 weeks.
I would consider a "relatively fine" start, underwhelming.. that's not calling it a bad one. Then considering his "bad" start, one that's better described as a "dumpster fire", severely underwhelming is an appropriate description of his season. Giles and Gomez (<-- to a lesser extent) still have time to improve.
Tyler White just keeps on hittin! Going to be interesting how they handle the situation with Reed as well.
