Simon brings the rope-a-dope concept to pitching.

I wonder if number of throws to first ever factors into the pitch count.

Still using full arm motion, legs.... some guys even put a little heat on those throws.

At the very least, Simon's 51 pitches may feel like 60.

Correa, if they are smart, is not going to see a good pitch to hit all night.

at this rate, i'd rather have correa swing at the first pitch to drive in a run. walks are useless since we can't muster and ketchup hits

i've always thought they should count. and another perk of a base stealer, to tire that arm

Lefties are hitting over .300 against Simon, Rasmus can't play tonight, so yesssss, lets use Conger as DH, right?????? Noooooooo, they have to play Gattis at LF for some kind of reason, yupiiiiiii

I would like Hinch to be MORE CREATIVE. Conger vs righties, hitting .328. Simon pitching vs lefties over .309. Great moment to have that matchup for us, right??? Well, not according to Mr. Hinch, INCREDIBLE

smh Marwin. This is what happens when you can't score with RISP.

Its been a long time that is going on. The 2 guys that do are Correa and Altuve, we are wasting that if we don't use them together. Altuve will protect Correa, and will hit with RISP, but, HINCH is not creative. I don't like Hinch much as a manager, i see the same mistake again, and again, and again

Another Hinch move, Valbuena, one of our best defensive player is DH and our worse defensive guy is playing LF, and that makes a very average OF, with a very weak arm playing RF. If i did not see it i would say is a joke.

Great job limiting the damage, Keuch.

He probably won't fall to us.

Most those teams are below us in the standings.
