Bo has officially cemented himself into permanent hatred and eagerness for him to be fired, in my mind.

Doing something like that even one time is inexcusable.

Pretty sure Porter didn't hit on 16 with the dealer showing a 7.

So......... the decision to put Alex Presley in the 5 spot is looking OK.

    Silver lining?

But what about the "genius" of putting Sipp in left field?

I'm in complete agreement, this is such a bad decision, without any justification whatsoever, I would fire him right now.

Seriously it's like he decided what is the best thing I could do to lose this game

Not if the other decisions cost them a winnable game.

Sure, if you want him hitting in the 5 spot the rest of the season.

Jerome Williams never pitching again would be the silver lining. Bo Porter getting fired at the break would be the golden lining.

Id rather had Altuve pitch the 9th. Can we extend Porters contract a couple more years please. A genius!

He was totally throwing Williams a bone. An undeserved bone.

I wonder how the players feel about these sort of moves, and how they can take him seriously when he tries to explain it to them (or explain subsequent moves).

And honestly, the only time a good closer really matters is in one run games. He uses Qualls in every 3 run lead save situation, but makes decisions like this in closer games.

Does Carter finish the season with more golden sombreros or homers?

Him and Jerome Williams have to be boys or something, because his continued commitment to him literally has no reasoning. He just gave a game away.

I'm still in shock really, this level of stupid is beyond comprehension. The players must love him, because Porter is really a terrible game manager.

Castro bailed his non manergering butt out last night, and he wonders why this team lays down.
