    Now I finally knew what that Wangfujing commercial on that hot September afternnon was all about.

    It was about Esquire China taking photos of Yao Ming for a cover story for its November 2006 issue.

    In the above article it mentioned:-

    The plan to have Yao Ming as its main cover story conceptualized 15 long months.

    Esquire China sent tailors to measure Yao Ming's size on July 30 at his dormitory at the National Sports Bureau.

    Then Esquire China sent the editors to meet Zhang Mingji, Yao Ming and Yao's parents in Kunshan during the FIBA Stankovic Continental Champion Cup on August 14 to discuss the details of the photo shooting/interview, as well as sending Yao Ming samples of the V E Delure attires to try on.

    Then Esquire China met Zhang Mingji again late August after they had located the site for the film shooting, had the suitable child actress/dogs ready.

    Then the actual shooting at Wnagfujing on September 4........a total of 4 hours of taking those photos.

    So here are the cover of this November issue of Esquire to share with you.

    Hey Pryuen, don't take this the wrong way man, I appreciate everything you've done for this board when it comes to Yao(and people on this board knows how much I love Yao). But...........

    Everytime I click on this thread, I feel like I'm in the grocery store at the check out line and all these tabloids (National Enquire,etc......) are staring at me, I want to pick one up to read but just felt too ashamed.

    I have a horrible vision, one day I'll click on this thread and find out Yao has a secret lover that bored him a child with lobster claws.

    Oh the horror! :)

    That's why he didn't bomb this sites with hundreds of threads about Yao's secret lover. He only initiated this thread which is dedicate to Yao's activities
    including Yao is having an affair with his secret lover, of course. If you don't want to see it, you don't really have to come in again: I assume you've already figured out what this thread about.
