My disappointment was that Swift never really got to see the court with Tmac and Yao.

I love how some will shift the blame to JVG ASP.

Lets not forget that Swift never quite reached his potiental under Hubie Brown or Mike Fratello and let forget that most of the problems he had in Houston were the same he had with the Grizzzzz.

I was excited about him signing last summer but am not torn up he's gone

Thanks Swift! You should of punched or choked JVG at least once before they traded you. Then he'd love you just like he loved Spree. :D

Thank you for choosing Houston last summer and giving a fan like me a burst of happiness.
I feel deeply sorry that you had to leave Houston after only one year. I feel shamed for Rockets' low-profile management: sending you back to the place from where you chose Houston.

    Thank you, Stromile Swift!

Wish you have a great season and have a better coach.

    Best of luck to Stro.

If the rumors are true, it's not so much Rockets were eager to dump him more than anyone else, it's that Jerry West wanted him back (at least compared to getting either Juwan or Rafer back) in the deal as the matching salary. Hopefully, he finds some minutes there now that Lo Wright is gone.

Thank you for keeping the rockets on the top 10 plays of the week

I think that is the only thing he did for us

J Whaley is a sucka!! Swift didnt do a thing for us![

I can't forget your eagerness (although sometimes look nervous) to play well on court and your impressive dunks one after another.

    Thank you, Stromile Swift![/QUOTE]

Perfect thread for me to re-iterate that I'm glad Swift is out of Houston.

I don't like to sit in judgment of players, but Swift had to go.

Now if we could somehow get Magloire in here...

The purpose of this thrread was to thank Swift, not dog him. Thanks Stromile-if you had been in a different system like Phoenix, Dallas, or Sacramento-you would have done better I'm sure.

If you had been given more playing itme - I think you could have contributed more.

I will never understand how Mo Taylor and Stromile get slammed on this board, but Juwan Howard gets respect....

Juwan should not be a starter on an NBA team
