The bye is a perfect chance to get into first place by not having to play.

And there is no chance for injury... unless he plays with someone's dog again.

Their dominating performance against the bye, will result in a mad influx of viewership for next week...only then to fail miserably...

We got this. Texans take sole possession of 1st place...due to not having to play a game.

If BOB wanted him, he could have had him. They didn't have to IR him. See Arian.

Clowney will have a normal game for him, no sacks.

If good Hoyer keeps showing up, they can beat NY, Buffalo, Tennessee, Jacksonville, and maybe the Saints and the Colts. That's a 9-7 record. I know it is almost impossible but still...there's hope!

If bad Hoyer comes back then we we are looking at 5-11 as a worst case. That also means a top 10 draft pick. Houston, we have a QB. There's hope.

Saw the interview of McNair...he actually did look pissed off with the team....I don't recall seeing him so disappointed / angry with the product....

The team actually has a tight ends coach. John Perry. Why does he still have a job?

"We have some outside people come in. They evaluate our team. Just have somebody give us a third-party opinion as to what we have, what we might need. "

    Wow really?

Nothing like some high paid corporate consultants who tell you what you want to hear

Texans should win this one easily. Jj watt has been a juggernaut. Hoyer is proving to be one of the all time greats qb Houston has ever had.
