Oh really? You must me right! I have seen all these fans here talking about how dominating of a past the Cowboys have. Please.... I've seen 19-10 more than anything and it's your only defense(and not talking about just on this board). But yeah Cowboys fans live in the past more than anybody else. What happens after next week if Dallas wins? Do the Texans fans say "Oh well...We still won on our very first meeting."?
19-10 is something we do to f*ck with cowboy fans. If dallas wins than oh well the series is tied but if H-Town wins man it is on I will talk so much sh_t to every douchbag cowboy fan I see.
Nope, then the Texans and Cowboys would have even head-to-head records. And we'd start looking forward to regaining the advantage in '10.
Anybody know where you can buy a " Buck Dallas shirt" on the web. Or whatever they use I know its not the actual F-Bomb. I've been looking like crazy today.
Exactly. Think how much bullsh*t the Poke fans and the coaching staff will have to endure should they lose to the Texans in 2 weeks FOR FOUR MORE YEARS! This just in, the Texans have zero pressure AGAIN to win because more than likely the Texans will be at least a 15 point 'dog to the Cowboys. So if I was a Dallas fan, I would be sweating bullets on this one. You all will be coming off an emotional rollercoaster paycho in-division rival game in the city without brotherly love especially for TO on the previous Sunday, meanwhile the Texans come off their bye week. We already know that the media will give us no respect on this matchup. According to some, the Texans should probably not even bother to show up but you know what 'NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENT.' Dallas is good obviously, but no one really knows what exactly the Texans are capable of that includes the Texans at this point. That could be a good thing or who knows? That uncertainty is probably potentially driving Parcells crazy. We'll just have to see how this plays out. I personally think Mario is going to have a monster game with Bledsoe in his crosshairs. Can y'all just imagine the ESPN backlash if y'all lose this one? Perish the thought. No pressure.
If the Texans keep playing the way they're playing this week, they stand no chance against the Cowboys
In my wildest most optimistic moments, I still can't picture the Texans beating the Cowboys in Dallas next Sunday. If the Texans make great improvements, pump themselves up to a fever pitch, and have the luckest game in their short history, they likely still don't beat the Cowboys. After the Eagles game, the Cowboys will be returning in a foul mood. And guess who they are going to take it out on? The Texans are circled as their "feel good game before the homefolks" where they redeem themselves with their fans because they blew the Eagles game. Now, if they lose, the whole city of Dallas will meltdown. That would be nice.
Hey Kimo Sabe, First of all, it was only ONE game. It was our first game EVER! Secondly, we are now comparing the Cowboys to the Texans NOT the Oilers. Did the Pokes win their first ever game? Seem to recall that the Cowboys were a joke for their first several years! So in other words, what was the first year the Cowboys were in the playoffs? Won first Super Bowl? '73 season after the immaculate one for Miami in '72. Sorry before my time ... remember Bob Lilly harrassed Bob Griese mercilessly. Final score: Dallas 24, Miami 7. Wasnt that the one that the greatest sack loss yardage possibly ever was recorded? Anyway, yes the scoreboard is Cowboys 5, Texans 0 but in all fairness should we get to the playoffs and go to the Super Bowl and win it before 2012 that would give us some bragging rights in that respect wouldnt it? Especially considering there are many more teams now than were then. So yeah, as of this moment in time, we Texan fans have nothing more to talk about than 19-10 better hope the Boys dont blow it in little d this week. Remember, the backlash from the national pundits about the inaugural game? Can you imagine what they'll say should Dallas lose this one! Like I said no pressure on the Texans again! We'll just have to see how this one plays out. GO TEXANS!
I heard that there were some questionable calls against the BYE. A few breaks here or there, and I think the BYE could have pulled it out.
