This game will be much closer than most will think...there is no reason we should get beat handily...and that's the only way I can come away from this game disappointed. I think the winner of the TO battle wins the game. The Vikings are due for a turnover or two and hopefully the Texans can protect the ball. If that happens, Houston wins. It'll be a very impressive win and one that should have them hopeful of being at least the top 4 in the AFC for the length of the season.
Considering Diggs isn't playing and we have a guy who the last 4 games has shown to be able to stop good TE's, they shouldn't score much. Texans win if they don't turn the ball over or create short fields by not converting 3rd downs pinned back. That's honestly all they will have to do to win. I don't trust the Texans to fully do that just yet. We should come out run heavy and hope some success will come from it to do some play action that will allow our WR to beat their slow footed DB's.
I'm hoping the Texans win but I'm just not a believer in Brock for this game. At home that minny defense will smell blood in the water. Did a great job on the best qb in the league imo Rodgers.
Going in to that game Rodgers had a string of almost 10 games where he hadn't hit over 100 QB Rating. He hadn't been playing like it for a while.
I think I said this about three weeks ago in a game thread. I am friends with a guy on the team and he said Brown was telling everyone week 3/4 as timetable for return. He felt he was ready, but the Texans were holding him back believe it or not.
I think anything they can get from Duane Brown is going to be better than the jokers they've put in to replace him. If that buys Osweiler some more time or opens a few running lanes for Miller then that can only be a good thing. This is going to be a really tough game to win and if the Texans are to have a chance at all their defense has to step up and be better than they were last week. There's no reason why the Vikings should score all that much with their offense......but then again there's no reason why the Texans allowed the Titans to set a season high in scoring either. For a win IMO the Texans have to hold the Vikings at or under 14 points. So far nobody has been able to do it so nobody has been able to win.
That's good. I wonder why he hasn't had full practice? Maybe they just like starting them at games when they're ready and resting them as much as possible
Agreed but man Newton is just as horrible as Clark. So Brock still won't have that much time to go through his progressions.
Inactives: Brandon Weeden, Keith Mumphery, Kareem Jackson, Jonathan Grimes , Oday Aboushi, Stephen Anderson, Brandon Dunn Stefon Diggs, Ronnie Hillman, Anthony Harris, Andre Smith, Sharrif Floyd, David Morgan, Rhett Ellison

Dear lord, the Vikings new stadium is stunning when the panels and everything open up for an indoor/outdoor feeling
