No, that is true, but a QB can roll away from the pressure and not get a one arm sack, I mean come on.....

Usually linemen help this situation out, by blocking

Well it's pretty obvious...the Texans can dominate bad teams, but can't keep up with the pretty good to great teams...which makes them a mediocre team.

And again stupid mistakes prove costly. They left two field goals and possibly more on the board today. And of course terrible defense at times.

Not always.....sometimes a QB can read that the blocks are breaking down, feel the pressure and step away from it.

Honestly, I don't know why Kubiak doesn't move the QB around some...it is maddening.

Maybe every now and then... but not on every single play.

And in this situation, where the Texans HAVE to go downfield... and the Vikings aren't even blitzing... you HAVE to be able to allow your QB to drop back, survey the field, and find somebody.

There's never been a QB in the history of the game who has been able to accomplish what you wish every single time he faces heat. Those guys either get injured, or make stupid mistakes eventually. Also, guys like Steve Young and Elway, while they were elusive, also had lines that could block for them when needed.

Sometimes a QB can true, sometime or most the time not all the time.

When a line blocks NONE of the time 13 times in a row letting it get where it takes the QB pocket presense to evade the rush, it'll catch up to any QB.

Agreed, which is why I mentioned moving the pocket......I think it is poor QBing....poor line play and poor play calling...

Rollouts and bootlegs are gimmick plays that work more in college than the NFL.

That being said, the Texans do utilize them to some degree... but in the end, the talent they have up front still needs development against the elite defenses in this league.

Texans have way to many questions that still need to be anwered from who the starting QB should be I thought Sage looked great he gets rid of the ball much better.

The coaching staff's play calling was terrible once again how many times did they try the same old run the ball between the tackles crap just to get stuffed. The single most pressing issues is our red zone defense which is nonexistant, protecting the QB, and turning the ball over constantly.

Well, I thought they had a comeback in them. With all the games that went to OT today, it seemed in the cards.

Back home next week for Baltimore. A win there is completely necessary at this point.

Turnovers are the story of the year for the Texans this year.

Got a low blow by Jared Allen not once, but twice... and started to become a liability with a sprained left knee. His one interception was when he had a wide open Leach down the sidelines for a TD, but couldn't get enough on his throw thanks to his leg. He also under-threw a wide open Walter 3 plays before.

That being said, he wanted to stay in... and Kubiak made the call to take him out. Didn't really matter all that much in the end.
