In that instance it wouldn't have mattered, but most of the time a play being blown dead would mean defenders stop chasing the ball that's why it's not challengable

 

Stupid refs cost us at least 4 points there.

 

Seriously I don't understand how they called it dead. If you know you can't overturn something because it's called dead, then you let them play it out, and then allow the review to say whether he went out or not. Stupidest ****ing rule ever
