I had to check the boxscore to make sure, but yes, Khalil Mack is indeed playing for the Raiders today.
I wonder how history will judge Clowney vs Mack. Mack will probably put up better numbers but Clowney's impact is something that really only appreciated by people the watch the Texans on a weekly basis. I will also be curious to see what their second contracts look like.
They are both good players, but I think the difference is that one is a very good pass rushing linebacker and the other is a game changing defender all over the place. I think with time the difference will become more and more pronounced.
Not to mention he's one of the best run stuffing defensive players in the league. He had his heart and motor questioned coming into the draft and this season and especially last week on that Lafell TD changed that
When you factor in age and potential I would not trade Clowney for any non-QB in the league. Not Von Miller, not Mack, Donald, not Tyron Smith. That's how much of a game changer he is and and will continue to be.
Everyone get your laser lights and paper airplanes ready, we're a few minutes away from confirming the Mexico City Screw Job revenge game.
Dungy said that. Harrison said texans lose to 3rd string qb. Do you blame them? That's gotta be the worst playoff game next week. Nobody is paying attention.
Why would we be shut out against them. We are bringing the same exact offense back which put up 20 points against the Raiders in Mexico City. The Raiders are bringing in a 3rd string QB. We are also at home where our defense plays much better.
Perfect ending to the Rick Smith / O'Brien regime. The QB some ppl thought we would draft this year, comes in and wins a playoff game with his first ever start.
I seriously hope fans bring laser lights to the game. Serious. Seriously. If anybody is going to the game, and doesn't mind potentially being kicked out, I will send you one through Amazon prime. What's the NFL going to do? Make them replay the game? How hilariously hypocritical that would be...
