Reporters brought up great points and names that needed recognition ... Hal , Strong... Theses are players doing so much more now than earlier in the year. Hal looks stronger with great coverage and Strong looks much leaner and condition
It took Strong so long to get to this point, I really hope next season he doesn't come to camp out of shape. It would have been REALLY nice to have this kind of production from him all season instead of watching passes bounce off Shorts III or Washington's hands.
What bothers me is that regardless of what Strong did in practice, he ALWAYS brought it on the field. He showed good hands…he showed great ability to find the soft spots in the defense…and he showed that he is a very good RZ target, both in the preseason and in his limited time in the regular season. Some players might not tie shoes the way you want them to, but they are gamers when the lights go on…and Strong is one of those players.
Yeah, but we don't really know the details of what happened off the field. It may have been he just wasn't practicing well, or it may have been he wasn't practicing well and wasn't really putting in the work to try and get better. Or maybe he was being unprofessional. I don't know. Regardless, I hope whatever it was that had him glued to the bench is permanently behind him because it would be REALLY nice if he turns out to be our future #2 WR and we have that position neatly locked up for the foreseeable future.

Whitehurst on IR http://www.indystar.com/story/sport...-charlie-whitehurst-injured-reserve/77983174/ Gosh, this division has gone through it.
No structural damage to Clowney's foot, yet he still needs a cart to get off the field. Dude has no tolerance for pain. Reminds me of some of my high school coaches favorite lines "are you HURT, or are you INJURED???!?!"
Did you watch the game? He walked off the field, then they worked on him a bit at the trainers area, then he hopped into the back of a golf cart to go do some tests. That's pretty standard for that kind of injury.
