When they showed Kubiak looking at his clipboard I think he was looking at NFL coordinator job openings for next year.
Another BRILLIANT 3rd and long call by Kubiak, a play that is incapable of getting a first down I have counted 3 short pass plays on 3rd and long today, and close to a million this season
these are the called plays, its been happening all season. Walter was the receiver farthest down the field on that play and he was only just at the 1st down marker.
In all fairness, your receivers have to have TIME to get to the first down marker, and with the Titans blitzing so much, Schaub has to get rid of the ball quickly. That's what makes OUR defense so effing terrible.....even on 3rd & 15, they STILL can't figure out a way to get to the QB fast enough to stop the receivers from running free.
i don't want to sound like i'm defending the Kubes but if WRs aren't open down field and there's a blitz with no protection, I don't expect Schaub to have time to throw it deep. with that said, fire Kubes!

Every reciever was running a slant route and into the slant already, none were even at the 1st down marker
at this point, bush should be calling blitzes on every single play. its not like they aren't going to beat the d deep unless he calls blitzes.
