The only chance we have is if the Titans come into this thing overconfident while we come out of the gates with a chip on our shoulders.

If that happens, it'll be a hard fought game that goes down to the wire.

If not, then Titans win by at least 2 scores.

The Titans have their offensive issues and certainly can be beaten, but one thing they don't do under Fisher is ever come out and not play with max effort. I don't think we can hope they will be overconfident and play sloppy.

Probably not going to happen with them coming off a loss. Had they beaten the Steelers, maybe.

Probably not going to happen either. I just don't think we have it in us.

My prediction: Brian Cushing records 16 solo tackles, a forced fumble, an interception, a double eagle, a swirly, a Cincinnati bowtie, and a Joey Buttafuco.

the titans are sneaky good; they do absolutely nothing individually spectacular... except win. but i didn't think they looked invincible last week, far from it. and they didn't look invincible in our two games with them last year, either.

what a kick it's be to redeem the jets loss *and* stuff a second loss on the titans. this could be a *really* big weekend.

btw, did anyone happen to catch yesterday's eric winston show? a caller suggested the texans - no, i'm not making this up, btw - trade a second round pick for... guess who? you'll never guess.... letjustetllya! baby vince. according to the caller, when baby vince is in houston, magic happens. i presume he said this all with a straight face but can't verify.

anyhoo, matt gets agitated and starts to actually engage the moron when winston steps in and says: can he read defenses better in houston? oh, snap! i thought that was funny. (it may end up being my lone bright spot these first two weeks of the season......)

I don't think it will be an offensive game, which doesn't bode well for us.

    Closer than Expect
    14 -17

Just don't see the Titans as a high powered offense
If their Defense scores . . .then the Texans will get shalacked

1 second rounder won't get you a backup-QB-turned starter. let's offer TWO second rounders, trade two slots down in round 1, and let's give the guy $24M before he ever steps on the field.

    :)

If we get into the backfield as much as we did last game, we have a shot since Collins is no Sanchez in rolling out of the pocket.

Our main issue, will be keeping the running game in check. Not to mention one of our starters got banged up last game, so it is time for either Okam or Zgonnia to step up.

Don't mention Gruden, his major claims to fame are leading a team Dungy built and taking them to the Super Bowl and "dating" quarterbacks.

Has any NFL team ever accumulated over 500yds rushing in one game? Hide the women and children. On second thought, maybe none of us should watch. This is going to be brutal.

no way that happens during the season...unless they open up 0-5 or something. then i think we might get close. but that's not gonna happen.

I think the Texans will put up a fight and lose by a touchdown, or so.
