Ahh. Now it's not about passer rating because that stat doesn't make your point.

Nobody here will say Vince is the greatest QB in the league. What you have to realize is that Vince is a second year QB who is going to be great in the future once he learns to eliminate those types of mistakes.

Let's look at Terry Bradshaw's first two years in the league:

    1970 - 13 games, 83/218 completed, 38.1% completion, 1,410 yards, 6 TD, 24 INT
    1971 - 14 games, 203/373 completed, 54.4% completion, 2,259 yards, 13 TD, 22 INT

Here's John Elway's first two years:

    1983 - 123/259, 1,663 yards, 7 TD, 14 INT
    1984 - 214/380, 2,598 yards, 18 TD, 15 INT

    How about Joe Namath:

    1965 - 164/340 (48.2%), 2,220 yards, 18 TD, 15 INT
    1966 - 232/471 (49.3%), 3,379 yards, 19 TD, 27 INT

    Should I continue?

    I like Vince
I am not a Titan Fan

His receivers are not all world

BTW - how do ya'll rate Gerard on the QB list
he seems to be having a great year
I have not seen enough of him to make an educated opinion
    just his stats

Overall . . how are the QBs in out division
    Manning, Vince, Schuad and Gerard

Talk about missing an assignment. How do you let Mario Williams go unblocked to your QB?

Mario just scared Vincent so bad that Vincent just went to the ground to avoid the hit.

I completely agree with you regarding the passer rating, it is part of my argument even though it is a weak one. Like i said in a previous post, based on these 2 years i don't see anything i am impressed with.

I also stated in an earlier post that i would admit I'm wrong and would hold off completely until he is supposedly in his prime and see what he proved in those years.

Being a hater is to completely make up bogus stuff to prove my point and just hate for the sake of hating. I just see this as my opinion that I don't believe he is progressing like everyone had believed he would progress. Now if he does progress good for him and i will say I'm wrong. Im not saying these things for the sake of it being Vince Young.

Garrard is having a very consistant season. They run more than the pass in JAX but he hasn't thrown an INT this season going into todays game and haven't checked the stats of their game today.

He seems to be a very calm and composed QB that doesn't look to make mistakes.

Seriously, I think Jacoby can't raise his arms above his head. another freaking punt return he should have waved for the fair catch.

Titans make it 6 wins in a row against the Texans.

Vince with a huge game to get out of the slump.

Playoffs alive for Titans, Texans are out of contention.
