I haven't been watching the whole game, so maybe I've missed some things; but it did seem Carr was getting a lot more pressure than Rosenfels did on that drive. I saw the last fumble he made; he got hit from behind, not much you can do about that. All I'm saying is don't start proclaiming Sage the new starter yet...one drive does not a "changing of the guard" make. If he get's more chances and continues to play well, fine, then we could have a nice little qb controversy, which might actually be good for Carr; he hasn't had any competition for the starting job yet.
It's because Sage has much better pocket presence then Carr. He knows how to side step the pass rush and buy more time.
The blockers are still doing a better job of keeping their men in front of them... regardless of how Sage side steps pass rushes.
Not that I think Rosenfels is the answer. I just think Carr has very poor football instincts. He can't sense and react to pressure very well. Throughout the years, whether it has been Tony Banks or Sage Rosenfels, it's just a different looking offense when we get the backups in. We've wasted far too much time with Carr.
Bush is so overrated right now it isn't even funny. Just look at his rushing stats. He can't do the same things he did in college with the same success. Dang...another drop. It was a tough catch but he should have had it. Punt return for TD...we suck.
How come the Texans lack those type of playmakers EVERYWHERE on the field... no kick/punt returners... no awesome safeties... no dominant pass rushers (yet).
I cant wait to read the articles this week/listen to talk shows, love the benching of Carr!!! great game for the titans and VY to be able to hopefully get a W against H-town
