i think we fared pretty well, the titans only gave up 7 sacks before todays game. We are gonna miss Mario against the bigger teams, but it hasnt been a huge drop off since his injury

I disagree. While the defense is playing MUCH better than what we’re accustomed to…today’s game showed that we’re having problems with actually disrupting the QBs pocket. The OLB seem to be running up field past the QB on most passing plays. I like Brooks Reed but Mario appeared to be on the verge of becoming the game changer we’ve been begging him to be over the last 5 years. I fully expect us to win the division and possibly win one home playoff game but Mario’s presence could have allowed this defense to be much more disruptive as they continue to assimilate to wade’s scheme…. It appeared that something special was brewing with the defense but now our defensive ceiling is lower than w/Mario. I hope we sign him for next season (at least franchise him) and he comes back with the intent of picking up where he left off. The positive about his injury is that it’s not a leg injury so he should come back 100%.... Top priorities for the Texans in offseason. 1. Lock-up Foster/Mario & restructure Demeco’s contract 2. Draft/sign upgrades at Defensive tackle, ILB, #2 WR, one more good corner & depth at OL If we take care of those things our window for winning it all looks very good for the next 3-5 years. I want us to get the playoff experience under our belt this year, possibly host and win one playoff game and go into next season with confidence that we can win it all cause its no longer our first rodeo (playoffs)
Schaub was barely bothered all day the Titans front 7 was manhandled [or they just suck] Seem like they did not blitz alot . .. seen 4 man rushes Any QB could pick you apart with time. Rocket River
Schaubs play of the game was when he scrambled and threw the ball away. I have never once seen him throw the ball away like that.

So we played great but the lack of pressure on the qb worries me. Where are all the people who called Mario overrated and that the only reason he we was looking good was because of the ninja? Also, if I remember correctly I saw a fair amount of Allen today, did they finally sit Kareem in favor of Allen, because he has obviously out played Kareem. Last I saw of Kareem today was that 30 yard pass interference in the first qtr. I think we can make do with out manning in the immediate future but pray he can come back. This defense is one Joseph injury away from being screwed. On a good note, offense looked great, can't wait for andre and Casey to return. That 2 headed rb attack was killer and should be the staple of this team for the rest of the season.

LOL...not complaining...just pointing out an area where improvement is needed in order to compete with the big boys in the playoffs. We miss Mario but we'll still easily win the division and make the playoffs. If Wade can scheme up pressure we might be able to make some noise in the playoffs.
