Ugh. That's on Arian. No need to keep dancing on 4th and an inch. He had a hole to get just past the 35, but tried to bounce it outside to get a bigger gain.
lol. I was giving the call the side eye. Why give them any hope but I can understand . . the titans hadn't stopped him all day Rocket River
For all the Texans effectiveness at running the ball, they have PITIFUL 3rd & 4th down & 1 success. Foster's been stopped like 5 times already this year
They escaped for now. But I have no idea, with a 20 point lead that you go for it on 4th and inches. That's the kind of bonehead call that costs you games.
I remember early in the year Watt looked like a potential DROY, is he still in contention? His stats don't jump out at you but he's been very impressive.
That's somewhat to be expected. Short-yardage situations where the front gets overloaded can overwhelm the smaller linemen that are necessary to zone block like the Texans do. Need to be more creative and go to the outside, which the Texans did on that play... but a) Vickers missed his block and b) Foster wasn't as decisive as you'd like.
There's almost no logical reason to ever punt the ball inside the other team's 40. Unless maybe you have 10+ yards to go or something.
