I expected the Texans would lose today, but not like this. They are being stomped into the ground, utter humiliation. New season, same ole Texans. QB running for his life, no running game, inferior line play, etc. This will be hard to recover from. The Steelers offensive line just lined up and "ran over" the Texan defense, all the way down the field. That's just sad.

Yeah, you've got to blame the coaches whenever you see something like this. This team did not come ready to play at all. They don't even look like a professional football team. Kubiak and co. must accept full responsibility for this disaster, and if they don't, I'm going to start to really question what they're doing, which is something I usually don't.

I have noticed that the Texans finally kick it into gear when the other teams bring in their 2nd/3rd stringers. Pathetic.

This is what I was most afraid of. I haven't given my real opinions on the Texans because I feel like a troll when everyone else is so excited about the start of a new season.

I doubted the running game...I doubted the pass rush...I doubted the secondary. It looks worse than that, because the pass protection doesn't look good and Schaub has been a mental midget.

Today is an extension of what we saw against Dallas in the preseason. We couldn't stop them in the first half with our starters...and we can't seem to stop Pittsburgh either. Not even a little bit. Not even slowing them down, really.

I told Refman on the phone yesterday I thought 6-7 wins sounded about right. I don't want to see Kubiak gone, so I hope we don't hear that talk. But judging by the expectations I've read on this message board, I'm guessing there's going to be lots of really disappointed Texans fans who really thought they were looking at a potential playoff team this season.

Maybe I'm all wrong...maybe it's just one game and won't be a trend. Let's hope.

RB too. Turner the Burner is averaging like 14 yards per carry or something filthy.

Is that the Mendenhall guy that a lot of Texans fans wanted us to draft?

It doesn't matter if we got McFadden. Our line will not allow any RB to run like they should.

We had a chance to draft him before the Steelers, we traded back.
