I think I just came reading the box score.

    Holy crap.

Who is this football team and what did they do with the Texans.

    500 yards for matt?

    3 sacks for mario?

two receivers with almost 150 yards each?

The best thing about this 2-0 start

No more "Houston You Have A Problem" headlines.

Funny how you don't go back one more year to 2005 where he made 6 of 7 from long range. For a career, Racker's is 48.7 percent. Kubiak's decision only worked because Washington missed from the same distance, only after timeout was called. He trusted his defense to come up with a stop, but really the defense allowed Washington to get into field goal range.

Only one more "hard" game without Cushing. The Raiders actually may present a challenge, esp on the road, but no more so than the Redskins did.

Kubiak's decision worked this time because kicking 50+ yard FG's are literally a 50-50 proposition. Maybe next time, this decision doesn't work. Maybe next time, he allows Rackers to take the kick.

Its a mixed bag. Kubiak's decision looks much better if the punt is downed inside the 5, or AS doesn't make the dumb penalty.

Really wouldn't have faulted him though for giving Racker's a chance to win the game right there, and he misses.

And what kind of liability does that present for the team, if he doesn't really trust his kicker to make those long field goals?

No, its not funny...chances are, if anything, he's going to get worse with 50+ yarders. Doesnt matter how you want to slice it, Rackers does not kick FGs with range. There is no way Rackers can consistently hit half of his 50 yarders these days. His percentage will be much closer to the 4-18 that I listed.

"Mario Williams said he was motivated by taunts during the game from Redskins fans, who made references to the mushrooms in the Super Mario Brothers video game. "'You need a mushroom' and all that," Williams said. "They got their mushroom. They definitely got it.""

    I found my sig.

Andre Johnson is the best receiver in football.

    No more 1A and 1B??

I think the rise nationally that Larry got a couple years ago is what we will see and possibly then some should the Texans make a run towards a play-off berth. People have heard of Johnson but not a whole lot of people outside the AFC South have seen what he can do other than commentators.

Just saw on NFL Network that the Texans/Skins game will be replayed on Tuesday at 9:15pm Eastern. Should be a good show with all the added stuff that NFL Network does for their NFL replays.
