We need to have Slaton out there for screen plays since he's quick. I think Foster would do well (because of his vision), but Slaton kills defenses when he's in open space.

Yep. I miss Slaton in the passing game but Foster obviously deserves to be out there a ton.

We did have Slaton out there as a receiver a couple of times but Schaub didn't look his way.

If the Texans pull it out the next two weeks, I would have to say that they are definitely Playoff bound, and definitely Super Bowl contenders. That's a big "if," though.

That's correct and I think we will see Slaton a lot more as a receiver, against DC. The Redskins are going to try shutdown Foster and AJ, so Slaton could provide us with more plays and yards after the catch as a receiver.

If Sunday wasn't a fluke and representative of how they'll be this season? They'll be lucky to go 8-8.

not worried about the skins' offense, but i think their defense is legitimate.

They have Orakpo, so, yeah, there will be some challenges. He's a beast and is going to have a great season. Brown did a decent job with Freeney last week, so he's up for the task. Just hope the line plays nearly as well as they did against the Colts. If so, I don't think the Skins can score enough to stay with the Texans.

You know, it's not going to happen, but if the Texans beat the Cowboys to win their first Super Bowl, it would make up for every bad thing that's ever happened to Houston fans.

I would like to see Steve Slaton get involved too, due to the fact that, like you guys have said, he is a lot quicker than Arian Foster.

This isn't to say Foster shouldn't be our starting running back, but it is going to be very hard for him to break any long runs considering he runs a 4.7 40, while Laron Landry is one of the fastest safeties in the league with his 4.35 40. But then again, Foster ran for 231 yards against the colts with I think only 2 carries for 30+ yards.

If Landry's speed becomes a problem,Steve, this may be your chance, buddy. Please don't fumble.

My predictions are Redskins will win it 23-17...

We played against a tough defense on Sunday. I know you guys have young guys at the DB spots, but that is still a weak point. Also, did you see the job Trent Williams did on Ware?

Rookie handled himself brilliantly. Ware got a sack, but that was due to a miscalculation on Trent's part, not do to he was overmatched physically/talent wise.

Don't look for McNabb to get hit much.

they have a pretty good front in stopping the run but their LBs are suspect in coverage and their secondary isnt that great.

I expect the texans to open it up and for Andre to have a big day
