I went through a game log, but I'm not sure if I should have or not counted a couple of plays. I came to an average of 10.6 yards needed per third-down attempt. I hope I did it wrong.

I mean the Bills are in the bottom left corner.

So many of these advanced stats, graphs, metrics, etc are garbage/useless/don’t tell the story at all.

27.38251.63828/6x2% catch percentage on this play!!!! Wow!!!!!

Im tired of these AWS completely made up statistics. It’s garbage.

While I agree the OL is an issue, 2 of the 3 sacks were on CJ. The OL didn't do a good job at run blocking even though the ypc says differently. They need to find a dynamic 3rd down RB. I thought that's what Marks was drafted to be?

I dont blame Dare for the fumble, the LB made a great play. But to say he's only had 2 fumbles in his career is misleading. He hasn't carried the ball much from scrimmage in his career, so he shouldn't have many fumbles. What I'm looking for in a 3rd down RB is a Tyrell Johnson/Austin Ekeler/Tyrone Tracy/Justice Hill type RB. A guy that has the speed to do some damage when he catches a short pass he's a threat to score. Dare isn't that guy and never will be because he doesn't have that kind god given speed. What I would try to do is make a trade with the Ravens for Keaton Mitchell. I saw him in preseason and he's got the speed back to where he was before his knee injury. He's good at pass pro and is a really good KR as well. Dude's a threat to score anytime he touches the ball as he proved 2 yrs ago.

The Texans got some pressure on Stafford, 41%, but he got the ball out in about 2.3 seconds, one of the fastest. That kept him mostly out of trouble when the Texans generated pressure. (I think Stroud had 41% too) The secondary was still bendy, but not completely broken.

Can the Texans get the uptempo game going, Demco

Holy pyramids of Giza, every defender is going for the running back. Lol

Compare this to the play I posted where we attempt PA. Depressing.

    No!!!!!!!!!!

I had no idea he got hurt. He caught all 4 targets on him yesterday. That sucks! Then we have Brevin Jordan and Irv Smith on IR the rest of the season too. Good grief. I guess Harrison Bryant and/or Luke Lachey will be coming off the practice squad. Let's hope Schultz can stay healthy.

Good points. I agree that CJ took part of the blame for a couple of those sacks. On one he had a lane he could have run forward through a gap to his left that I noticed. I also didn't blame Dare for that fumble. He was holding onto that ball but a great defensive punch probably would have knocked that ball from anybody. I want to see our defense punch some balls loose.

I didn't see an injury report on him.

    Foot or ankle?

    How bad?

They said ankle during the game, but he was on the cart which is never a good sign.

High Ankle Sprain  Him and Stover on top of Jordan being out really sucks, Cade is the better blocker of the bunch.........I know injuries will happen but dam man, all his right out of the gate just SUCKS.....................next man up, but sometimes the next man up just sucks which is why I worry about the quality of depth on the OL, there just not that good. I want to scream that Nick didn't address this more in the off season, but it is what it is and maybe over the course of the next few games they build chemistry. Off topic but IMO the O Line should have played a quarter or two in 2 preseason games to get some cohesiveness and not try and do it in game one

The offense didn't score any TD's.... but don't blame the guy running the show.

The protection schemes weren't adjusted to pick up pressure, but don't blame the guy in charge of doing it.

The QB caused sacks, but don't blame the QB.

I was SUPER high on Stroud from day one, but this **** needs to end.

Stroud had a bad game when you look at the whole of his responsibility. The offense failed to reach the end zone even once and the guy worth the keys to the offense has to accept blame.

Now sure, the emergency kicker fumbling on the last drive probably stopped a game winning drive.... but why was Stroud putting his faith in a ****ing emergency kicker in that situation rather than Nico or one of the competent options?

He can still bounce back, but he was simply not good enough in game 1
