I think everything will be fine. If this happens again however.

I dont think missing a meeting is a prima donna issue....its more of a lazy issue.

I highly doubt that he thinks he's that great...in fact, there is no doubt in my mind that he has such a chip on his shoulder that he'll want to kick has for at least a few years.

Im not worried about this at all...specially when Tate comes back, Foster will know that he can be pulled in a heartbeat.

For a 'filosophizer', Foster has some issues. I hope he can stay focus.

Didn't Foster have issues last year?

Maybe in college, but he was too irrelevant last year (until the end of the season) to have any issues.

Its a potential to escalate issue if it isn't dealt with swiftly (which this was).

Foster is a pretty well-spoken guy, and conducts himself so in interviews. With his success, he's poised to grab the spotlight of the Texans... something that Andre Johnson doesn't want.

He doesn't need to miss meetings, or think he can get away with missing meetings, regardless of the initial issue (laziness, apathy, disinterest, etc.).

I totall agree you can't let a 2nd year starter develop that attitude. But I'm agreeing because the Texans are 3-1. If they were punting to start the 3rd quarter in a tie game instead of celebrating a 70 yard TD run, I would definitely be thinking twice about it though. Discipline can be laid down in many more ways than letting the rest of your team go 2-2 because (in a what if situation) Slaton and Ward could not get any yardage and you have your 2 best offensive weapons sitting on the bench.

Foster isn't getting paid enough to start acting like a diva. I'm glad he apologized to everyone, hopefully it was just a one week thing

Man, Foster is the real deal.....seriously, the dude is money...leading the league in rushing, keeps on backing it up...this dude is primed to rush for 1700 yards this year.

The Giants had already sacked Cutler 5 times with just a few minutes gone in the 2nd quarter. Umenyiora has 3 of them along with 2 FF.

Edit: Now they're up to 7 sacks with 6 min left in the 2nd.

Injury update: Bernard Pollard will have an MRI on his shoulder. Jacoby Jones suffered a calf strain and Andre Johnson is confident that he will play next week.

There is an earlier post about him injuring his ankle in warm ups, it was apparently a false report since he and coaches later admitted that it was discipline for some unspecified behavior.

noooooo i hope pollard is alright... the one week where i didn't predict Pollard would get a huge hit on a QB he does it twice...

before tonight, they had a combined 1 sack. So we'll see. And one of their best pass rushers Mathias Kiwanuka is out for the year. I would not expect the same type of performance next week

that and Cutler is just holding on to the ball way too long. he's not even recognizing the corner blitzes and just stands there waiting to be sacked. He just needs to get ball to the underneath routes and move methodically down the field. If he keeps sitting and waiting for the home run play, the Giants are going to have a field day.

Wow, I totally forgot that we drafted Tate. Now that's something to get excited about for next year.

    This

there is a big difference between Schaub's and Cutler's ability to get rid of the ball. Cutler is a TERRIBLE decision maker one of the worst in the league at the QB decision
