There was one hold called, but it was on a punt return. None on the OLine.

Would you rather a halfback pass?

3rd and 5/6 is not out of the question the way we've been running.

Plus it keeps the clock running and causes less of a chance for a turnover, and field position is HUGE here.

If we weren't running GREAT this game, I'd agree with you. But we are.

    It was the best call.

because it was a stupid call by the refs who was goaded by the WR and the crowd. that defense did not merit a penalty. that's been happening all game long.

I've read that there are just some crews who don't make the call very often, whereas some crews make the call too often.

That's what you get when you're dealing with a subjective penalty such as holding.

Foster was running great before that 3rd down play, I was half expecting him to pick up the 1st down.

Edit: I think it was Ward on that 3rd down, but still we were running great.

Does anyone realize that the Texans defense has gotten 4 sacks and 2 TOs this game, yet the Raiders have still scored 24, are on a decent drive right now late in the 4th, and have amassed a total of 396 yards of offense?

Foster did not run that ball. It was not a play designed for 6 yards
