Are Gus and Steven really talking up Tom Cable as a good coach? What has he ever done to show that he is even a competent coach. Ok, Ok, I'll admit...It's a positive that he hasn't beat up one of his assistant coaches in a year.
So because the Jets are terrible at disciplinary action, they are a good example? I'm not here to speculate what was done, nor can I think of an example off the top of my head with a corresponding punishment. All I'm saying is, depending on what he did, it could be justified. Wait until after the game to hear what happened. To be honest, missing a practice or a team meeting to me would be a big deal for a team that is trying to establish themselves in the league as a playoff team, especially when you are the #1 running back who should be setting an example for other players. Unity is important. But like I said, I'm not going to speculate on what happened. I can wait to hear the full story later.
Why don't we just run it?! it's 3 yards! We try to throw when our bet decoy/receiver is out of the game.. There is a reason no one is open..
Zach Miller becomes a huge weapon in a game like this where you can get anything you want underneath. He and McFadden have pretty much sliced up the Texans with screens and quick throws.
