Thanks for the info. I guess that is good for the Texans.... not as much homefield advantage for the Raiders with all those empty seats.
Completely agree with the commentators. You don't hold out one of your best offensive weapons and one of the best rushers in the league for disciplinary reasons. You fine him, you make him wash the teams jocks...whatever. You don't hold him out. If this wasn't the Raiders, if it was a divisional game, do you still hold him out....do you continue to hold him out if the team's in an early hole because Ward and Slaton aren't getting it done?
alot of players have economic incentives in their contracts like. . . an extra $$$ per 100 yrd game or something but holding him out. . . Kubiak is punishing him economically not to mention . . . it maybe 1 less 100 game to bargain with when contract/negotiation time comes up again Rocket River
Our coach keeps showing me that he is a dumbass. I can understand punishing someone for a quarter, but I don't see other coaches sitting the leagues best at anything for more than that for discipline. This makes no sense.
Sitting Foster for a "Coaches Decision" is in line with how the Texans organization runs! No player is bigger than the team. It doesn't matter that he is who he is. You got to remember all the immaturity problems the Texans dealt with last year with Foster. He apparently is on a short leash!
