Yup -- second most turnovers of any team in the league. That's where this team killed itself -- not with FGs.
why wasnt the game in hd?...comcast had it on hd channel but it was broadcasted at 480...is it because its preseason?
I was really excited when we picked up Slaton. I would love to see him get more meaningful carries through the preseason but we have so many backs on the roster right now. Also sounds like Brown will get the bulk of the carries next week.

Slaton probably won't see much of the field this year. He looked terrible on kickoffs, running into the back of his blockers twice. He's got the speed to be a good 3rd down back and potentially a good returner. I'm just not sure he's going to contribute much this season should those ahead of him stay healthy.
He looked really bad on the returns but I don't think he ever returned kicks at WV. But that's not big deal IMO since Andre Davis is our guy on KR. I agree that he won't see much of the field this year, but like you posted, a lot is gonna depend on whether the guys in front of him stay healthy. Green already tweaked his groin after 1 preseason carry and Brown maybe the most injury prone back in the league. Even though he was going against 3rd team players, Slaton looked decent with the carries he got. Since he is the fastest back we have, I won't be suprised if we see more of Slaton than some of us (including myself) expect.
eeekk.....that stinks for Jacoby. Hopefully, he'll get a chance to make up for it in front of his hometown crowd.
Dang, Schaub looks really good....Very poised and accurate. Only gonna get better when Andre is back.
